"I'd give 5 stars because their food is good, but I decided to rate it 1 because of their customer service. I made an online order through their actual website for delivery and they delivered half my order only. When I called to let them know they refused to believe that I didn't receive my actual order. I spoke with the manager, he didn't bother to apologize even after I explained to them that the order I received was 20$ less than what my card was charged and that included taxes. The manager kept trying to explain that they didn't make a mistake but unfortunately they did. I still didn't receive an apology nor did they bother to help fix the problem or anything. I will just save the receipt for what they delivered so I can start at a claim with my bank to correct the charge."

"I visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning. It was not too crowded when I arrived, but it got busier as I was leaving. Parking was easy to find. I have tried their burgers before and they are really good, but I had never had their breakfast. I decided to order the Sweet Cream Pancakes plate a la Boss Man. It consisted of Karo Syrup mixed with creamy peanut butter spread on top of the pancakes. Even though I am not a big fan of peanut butter, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it complemented the syrup and pancakes. The portion size was generous and also came with 2 eggs and a choice of meat. I chose linguiça with cheese on the eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly. I was very impressed with the quality of the food. We were a group of 9 people, so we had to be seated at separate tables, so I would not recommend this place for large parties. However, the food was served quickly. Our server was friendly and I enjoyed the nostalgic 50's atmosphere of the diner, which played old TV programs on the TV. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Not a good experience this eve. I had a reservation and was seated an hour after the reservation. It looked like they had no help. It was awkward because this was business so I didn’t want to make a scene. This is a primo place so to Mangement: get your act together. Once seated we ordered a bottle of wine, only to be told it was not in stock. We ordered appetizers that were never delivered. rhe entrees were good but the overall experience was pretty bad so we paid and left. To management:whatever is going on, get it fixed."

"I can't believe I didn't know about this deli before! I ordered the turkey sub on double crunch bread, and they added all the toppings I requested. The combination of mayonnaise, salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil was just perfect—everything worked together so harmoniously. It was absolutely delicious! I even went back the next day. I would highly recommend this deli, and I just wish I had discovered it sooner!"

"I wish I had taken photos of the beautiful food we received at this downtown Visalia restaurant... it was stunning! The service team was top-notch and the atmosphere was cool, with seating right by the brewing setup. The beer selection was diverse and impressive, catering to all tastes. We all ordered different drinks and they were all fantastic, making this small local brewery stand out. The food looked amazing and everyone left satisfied. I highly recommend the wedges with a burger or sandwich. The pizza was delicious and the plates were cleared. The burgers were a great value for their cost and size. One of our friends couldn't finish their wedges (a shame, in my opinion) because the burger was so large. I tried the hot pastrami sandwich and it was decent, although the meat was a bit dry and needed more condiments. The bread was tasty and the meat and cheese were perfectly warm and melty. I'm not a fan of brown mustard, but it complemented the sandwich well. Overall, this is a great spot for a quick lunch with frequently changing specials. We will definitely be returning."

"Food is amazing and our friends said the drinks are also great. We have the combination plate, it comes with 2 choices of meat and salad. It was too much food for two people. We all went to dinner after dinner. Very nice outdoor seating. There are some sprinklers to cool off, and it works great! Our waiter is very attentive and nice."

"I ordered a number 5, which is a double bacon burger but they gave me pastrami instead of bacon. I told the girl that they gave me pastrami instead of bacon and she said the bacon here is big. Let's just say I've never seen bacon iridescent! I also ordered a zucchini appetizer....in which both those and the combo fries were burnt. Free refills. When it comes to food choices, you've got a lot of options. I do plan to come here again, in hopes that my next choice will be a better option and I could give this place a 4 star review So I went back and got the pastrami combo with chilli cheese fries and a drink. The pastrami sandwich was to big for me to eat but I would have ate the whole thing if I could have."

"I am only giving 4 stars because we were not greeted when we walked through the door. Because other than that, the service was wonderful. Stephanie was our waitress. She made sure time and time again that we had everything we needed, and to make sure everything was okay. We are not one to complain at all. But I let her know my husbands biscuit was as hard as a rock. She even felt of it herself. Immediately took the plate back to tell the chef. She said 'I know u are not one to complain, but this needs to be fixed now. ' But since we were already leaving, she took 10% off our bill without hesitation. We most definitely will be seeing this one again! Thank you"

"I stopped by for lunch around noon on a Monday and Aloha Express was completely empty inside with the exception of one other party dining at a table near the front. I placed an order for a chicken katsu entree and within ten minutes, my food was ready. Unless you have a massive appetite, one order is more than enough to split between two people. You get two large scoops of rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, and a mountain of chicken. The chicken is fried really well: it's not too oily and the breading on the chicken is very thin. The chicken itself is really most as well. This is definitely some of the best chicken katsu I've had."

"I was greeted so warmly by a lovely staff member that I literally stopped and exclaimed, "Wow, I love this!" The interior is incredibly stylish, reminiscent of an Instagram boutique. This trendy salad bar not only offers a variety of fresh salads but also serves soups and sides like French fries and chips. The selection of toppings is vast—imagine Subway, but with at least three times the options! Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the portion size was generous enough for lunch or dinner; I even mixed what I had left into my eggs for breakfast the next morning. Here’s a pro tip: only dress the portion of your salad that you plan to eat right away to keep the leftovers from getting soggy. One salad can easily serve three people. The prices are quite reasonable, making this spot a must-visit for lunch when you're in downtown Visalia!"

"Fries were very good! Corn Dog tasted like it was straight out of the fair! Will Definitely be coming back for those! Burger was just meh. Nothing impressive, had better elsewhere. "The #3 Pastrami on sourdough is by far the best pastrami sandwich I've ever tasted! The sourdough is freshly baked, warm, and toasted to a perfect crispness, while the pastrami is tender with just the right amount of edges for added crunch. Topped with melted jack cheese, mustard, onions, and pickles, it’s absolutely perfect! It was so good, I even had it two days in a row! Plus, the Southwest Chicken Salad is fresh, crispy, light, and refreshing. West Coast Sourdough never fails to impress; their food is always delicious!"

"I always sit at the sushi bar to chat with Albert about what’s fresh that day, with most of the fish coming directly from Japan. On one occasion, a visitor from San Francisco said it was his first time at Sushi Kuu, and he remarked that there was nothing in S.F. that matched this experience! Albert offers an incredible variety of fresh fish, making each visit a unique experience. He creates three specialty hand rolls that he serves open, almost like tacos, so you can see the delicious ingredients inside. Albert makes all of his sauces and dips himself, keeping the recipes a secret from even his staff! He prepares his own house-made wasabi and soy sauce, too. Although I typically don’t order rolls, I highly recommend the Green Goblin! It’s a special roll that you won’t find anywhere else. It originally contains farmed salmon, but I prefer wild-caught, so I substitute it with King Salmon and call it the King Goblin, both topped with jalapeño and a secret light citrus sauce—absolutely delicious! Everything is so flavorful and fresh that it's tough to choose favorites! I’m sharing a picture of his special list to highlight the seasonal varieties he fillets himself, so be sure to try something while it's available! Don’t miss the Super Oh Toro, served as seared sashimi; it literally melts in your mouth, and the searing brings out all the oils and flavor. Albert also creates a wonderful red oil with crunch that you add to the fish—so good! Whether you’re a sushi and sashimi fanatic or a ramen lover, this place is a must-visit. The broth for his ramen noodles is incredibly flavorful! Sushi Kuu also boasts a wide selection of Japanese beers and sake. Sit at the bar, meet Albert, and truly appreciate his craft. If you mention Tony, he’ll know you're a sushi aficionado. Cheers!"

"My coworker went to Five Guys for lunch and ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños and BBQ sauce. However, he received a bacon cheeseburger that wasn't plain, topped instead with hot sauce and yellow peppers. This burger was remade twice, but each time, it was incorrectly made in the same way. He returned to work only eating his fries. We encouraged him to go back, especially since he had left a tip. On his fourth try, he finally got the correct order, but it still didn't have any cheese. Shaking my head!"

"I was staying in the area for a work trip and found this spot on Google maps. There were many positive reviews so I decided to give it a try for lunch. Upon entering I noticed the spaciousness of the restaurant. I was seated in a booth up front next to a window. This area had two rows of very comfortable booths. I met was by my server; she was soft spoken and very attentive. I ordered hot green tea. When it arrived at my table I was pleasantly surprised that I was given an entire hot tea pot. This was perfect because the tea cup was small and this allowed me to refill it myself with more hot tea. I decided on one of the lunch specials. But first I had to try one of the many appetizers. I ordered the spicy tuna over crispy rice; which was awesome. A large amount of spicy tuna on top of a crispy rice square, topped with a fresh jalapeño slice. As for my actual meal, I selected a plate combo with teriyaki beef and five pieces of sashimi. This included a small salad and miso soup. The soup and salad came out relatively fast. The salad was delicious, the dressing was just right. The miso soup was also great; not too salty. As for my combo plate, it was very good. The five prices of sashimi tasted fresh. I wish the pieces were larger but for the price it was appropriate. The beef teriyaki was also very good, just the right amount of fatty tender beef. The sauce was good but there was a little too much of it; not a big deal though. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I will for sure come back here the next time I’m in town."

"We brunched here for the first time a couple days ago and I'm so glad we tried this Danish gem! This place has a store AND restaurant. The kid in the front desk was extremely nice and personable. He says the place has been family owned for 40+ years and is something to experience while you're in town. We browsed around their store first and they had cute stuff. From kitchen attire to baby toys, there's something here for everyone. Prices of the items are a bit pricey, but that's okay cuz some items are truly unique! Once we were called into the dining area, we skimmed the menu. We ordered the happy face pancakes for my 3 year old, the danish sampler, and the Greek Goddess along with an orange juice and coffee. While waiting, the waiter came in with a bag of toys for my daughter to pick out from (wow . The wait was probably 15 minutes. The place was busy! Finally the food came and omg! They were all delicious ! My daughter enjoyed her happy face pancakes because it was so cute ! Pancakes were also fluffy just the way she likes them! And the orange juice is YUMMMMY because it is all natural FRESH SQUEEZED. The Danish sampler came with a pancake, their homemade danish sausage, a pancake rolled into a ball, and 2 eggs for $11.99 (as of 5/2024 . If you're in town and want to try Danish yummy food, don't forget to stop by this place! It's totally worth a try :"
