"I was traveling through South Carolina to meet my extended family when, to my surprise, I couldn’t find the restaurant I was looking for. But then, from out of nowhere, I spotted a massive sign that said "DAVE'S BBQ HERE," and it was the most beautifully crafted sign I’ve ever seen! The atmosphere was so fantastic that I had to visit the bathroom three times! This place definitely deserves a glorious five out of five stars!
When I arrived, I was disappointed to find they didn’t have mac and cheese, and the corn bites misled me into thinking they were mac and cheese bites! I was sad at first, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise to enjoy hot corn and corn juice instead! The kid-friendly aspect was amazing! There was even a pig outside! It was so great, I could have served my cheese on it! Unfortunately, I didn't have any cheese to serve.
As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was at my grandma's house, where there's always a spare loaf of bread—nature's own! I even made a beautiful cappuccino, but I don't know how to attach the picture! That bread was so incredibly good that I shed a tear—a tear of longing for mac and cheese! How sad.
While I was there, the line was long, which made me really happy because it meant the food must be good! I’m so glad my family and I decided to come here! The story of how we ended up at this magical BBQ buffet, Dave's BBQ, is quite amusing. I was at my apartment playing Fortnite when, once again, I received a heavenly package! It was my egg hat from Amazon. I had asked my neighbors to take in any packages because I lied about being out of town just so I could enjoy my Fortnite and my comfortable beanbag chair. While I was trying on my hat, my parents FaceTimed me and exclaimed, “Oh my goodness! Where did you get that amazing hat?” I told them it was from Amazon, and that’s when they mentioned where we were going for our yearly family reunion. I had never heard of this magical BBQ buffet before!
My first experience was enchanting, but upon arrival, it was even more delightful. In my final review, I give five stars for food—though if I could, I would give half-stars, still mourning the lack of mac and cheese. Extra points for the crispy chicken! The service was outstanding as they pre-filled my drink with ice, so I’d give them five stars too, though I’d put four-and-a-half stars for that because my straw wouldn’t fit into my drink! Apparently, there is a separate area for drinks without ice, which deserves five stars for its kindness.
Overall, I rate this place a perfect five! I just love it! Kid-friendliness: The kid-friendly atmosphere was excellent! There was a pig outside! It was so fantastic, I could have served my cheese on it!"
