"My wife and I had dinner at Vinotta recently and loved it! We had reservations and were seated right away at a high top in the bar area, which was very nice. Our server and other wait staff were very friendly and attentive. For appetizers, we had the Ahi Tuna Crudo and Shrimp Al Cognac. Both were very good, but the shrimp dish was not that special as the name and description led me to believe, but it was still good. My wife had the Frutti de Mare, which she saidwas delicious but she would have liked it to have more garlic. I had the Carbonara that was extremely delicious with the pasta cooked perfectly! I hadn't had Carbonara in years, and this meal made me wish I had it every day. The SpumoniBomb for dessert was also a big hit. I should note that the server for the customers seated at the high top next us was extremely professional in the way he dealt with the female diner at that table as she was a very demanding and highmaintenance individual. If I had been that server, I would have thrown in the towel with this high maintenance customer, but the server held his tongue and was tolerant of the female diner's demands even though my wife and I could tell hewished he were waiting on another table with different customers! It was funny and sad at the same time to watch, Overall, a wonderful dining experience, and we'll be back. I took one star away as we were not able to book a dining tablevia the online system when I made reservations as it stated online that dining table seating was not available for the time slot I reserved 6pm). However, upon our arrival at the restaurant there were plenty of empty tables as only 3tables had customers and there were no more than 10 customers in total when we arrived. There was plenty of staff standing around so no excuse if they said it was due to bring short-staffed. Thus, I am unsure why we were not able toreserve a table for dinner?? Make sure to get reservations early in the week to guarantee a table."

"The Katz: If you only get one sandwich here, this (named after NYC's most famous deli's most famous meat is the one to get. The pastrami has deep flavor from several sources: the spices, the cure, the smoke and a finishing stint in a pan that gives it a very bacony feel. The mustard and pickle treatment make it a Jewish – Italian hybrid.  <br/ <br/ Banh mi: Nothing about this one is authentic, but it still works. It's more about the cold cuts than the vegetation, which is the opposite of the traditional ratio. On a hot summer's day the coolness of the sandwich is perfect, and would fit right in on a picnic.  One time this came with the customary pickled vegetables; another time cole slaw (huh??? filled in. <br/ <br/ Corned beef: Very solid. Only thing is, it's similar to but not as good as the Katz. Remember, if you're only getting one sandwich, the Katz is the one to get.  <br/ <br/ Italian: The ingredients on this one very from visit to visit, so it's a bit like a roulette wheel. I got a so-so one once and hit the jackpot once. Do you feel lucky?  <br/ <br/ Burger: A Saturday special brings a thick patty and crusty Ciabatta. A little pricy for what you get, but good.  <br/ <br/ Potato Chips: Skip these. Greasy. <br/ <br/ Charcuterie: Long before they opened the Backroom next door, Moody's was creating some fantastic salumi, and it's still available on this side of the house. If you don't split a third sandwich with your date, split some of this.  <br/ <br/ Bottom Line: Don't go in expecting faithful adaptations of the classics, even (especially the Katz, but expect high quality and creativity that'll have you planning your next visit before you're out the door."
