"We decided to splurge and try the 5 course degustazione menu with paired wines. The wines were very good, however the food was a huge disappointment. The quality of the food served was not comparable to other degustazione menus we have tried. The expectation is to have very high quality foods prepared and presented in unique ways. Instead, we got bruschetta, vegetable soup, a small portion of pasta and a couple of meatballs. The dessert was biscuits. The disappointment is in the price you are paying for the basic common food that was served. We had eaten the same things at other restaurants in the area for a fraction of the price we paid here. The owner was very attentive but completely focused on the wine. So, it's a great place to have a meal and some wine, and they certainly have an interesting selection of wines, but we would not recommend doing the degustazione menu."
