"We asked our landlord for a fine restaurant nearby. He recommended this to Donato, but not for pizzas. We went around 19h without reservation and got a last table for a maximum of 1 hour. The pasta with Ragout sauce was fine, but too little seasoned. My partner still took a pizza and this was too wet in the middle as well as with much too much cheese. I had to get the pepper and the salt myself, as my request remained unanswered. Red wine was fine and we didn't get any bread any more. We reserved for the next day as we should have known about the pizza. Bruschetta as well as spaghetti with tomato sauce with my partner and meatballs as well as veal in lemon sauce with additional champions and Lattich with me. The Bruschetta and the meatballs were ok or fine. The spaghetti very fine and really spiced. My meat was served to someone else. But my supplements remained on the table and gradually became cold. When my partner was finished, my veal came. I read the lattich, the champignons I eat in front of the meat so it didn't get cold. The lemon sauce was too fat and too heavy. After all, we brought pepper and salt this time immediately. They apologised twice and offered us two espressos on request from my partner. My friend took one, I don't drink espresso. "Già il nome evoca amore per il prodotto, il proprio lavoro, la propria terra e questo amore emerge anche nei piatti. Il locale ha pochi coperti, alcuni all'interno della saletta, altri nella piccola veranda su strada, ma si è nella campagna quindi non sarete disturbati dalle macchine. All'interno della struttura troverete poi un piccolo parcheggio per auto. È un posto caratteristico e autentico, senza troppi fronzoli sia nell'arredamento che nell'accoglienza. Il menù, non ampissimo, è in linea con la stagionalità, offre piatti saporiti, genuini, veri. Il maialino nero dei nebrodi al nero mascalese è qualcosa di eccezionale, la carne morbida e saporita e il sugo ristretto di accompagnamento si sposava perfettamente, la pasta fresca al ragù di maialino buona, ben condita, anche se avrei voluto assaggiare quella ai porcini che veniva portati ai tavoli vicino: il profumo era qualcosa di incredibile. Ottima anche la ricottina di antipasto (tutti abbondanti, da poter dividere in due) al miele di castagno e pistacchi sbriciolati. A mio avviso l'unica cosa non in linea è stata il coperto di 2.50 a persona, che avrei preferito distribuito nel conto dei piatti, in quanto secondo me è una voce non giustificata. Nel complesso, se ricapiterò da quelle parti, mi piacerebbe tornare a mangiare lì.Parking: Piccolo parcheggio nel cortile interno alla ristorante, circa 6-7 auto posti disponibili."

"Il servizio era eccellente, divertente e cordiale. I tavoli all'aperto erano molto piacevoli, si è seduti in un cortile aperto con un albero al centro. Si è proprio accanto a una scuola, ma i bambini non fanno rumore. La pizza era buona. La crosta era molto buona, c'era sicuramente più sale rispetto a quello a cui sono abituato nell'impasto. L'unica cosa è che il sugo non era saporito come sono abituato. Parcheggio: non è possibile arrivare in auto. Adatto ai bambini: molto adatto ai bambini, proprio accanto a una scuola. "Piccolo locale ma devo dire che è davvero eccellente. Specializzati in cucina romana anche rivisitata, i piatti mangiati erano gustosissimi e ben presentati. "Max Mariola, il chef romano, ha raccomandato questo ristorante nel suo articolo per la BBC. Sono venuto qui specificamente per provare la carbonara e non sono rimasto deluso. La ricetta è tradizionale e il sapore è diverso rispetto a tutte le altre carbonare che ho provato. Per gli asiatici che amano il loro strutto di maiale, sarete felici di sapere che il bacon nella carbonara è preparato in modo molto simile, croccante e croccante! Le cozze sono grandi e fresche. "When you‘re dreaming about what you‘d have for secondo if you weren‘t already that full from antipasto and primo (which were all truly excellent by the way) you know that you’ve found the right place to dine!! From the carciofi at the beginning to the lemon sorbet at the end all dishes were absolutely wonderful and a real bargain, as well (the bill was way lower than we expected, given the quality of the food). To round it up, Mauro, our waiter, was not only super attentive but also very kind he even listened patiently to our poor efforts of speaking Italian (though he speaks perfect English). "Che delusione! Siamo andati su consiglio di qualcuno che conoscevamo. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno chiesto se avevamo il green pass, e noi, in quanto cittadini statunitensi, abbiamo mostrato invece le nostre tessere vaccinali. Il cameriere, che era anche il barista, ci ha subito detto di sederci fuori, e così abbiamo fatto. Un po' delusi, ma ci siamo adattati. A quel punto il ristorante era vuoto, eravamo arrivati proprio all'apertura. Faceva un po' freddo (senza riscaldamenti), ma abbiamo pensato che fosse un ristorante così fantastico che non ci importava. Abbiamo aspettato per 10-15 minuti (ricordate che non c'era NESSUNO) nel ristorante. Il tipo ci ha completamente ignorati, magari odiava gli americani o semplicemente aveva una brutta serata? Non lo sapremo mai, perché ci siamo alzati e ce ne siamo andati, completamente insoddisfatti. Penso che saremmo ancora seduti lì se non fossimo andati via. Peccato non poter recensire il cibo, ma quando si riceve una cattiva energia appena entrati in un ristorante, non si vuole rendere un'esperienza già negativa ancora peggiore!"

"A great small street food focused pasta restaurant. There's usually a queue, and it's not open as late as some of the other restaurants in the area. But it's absolutely worth it. We went late the first night and we're told they may run out of pasta before we get in, so returned the following evening. It was lovely. The host has a great attitude and is very funny. Only upstaged by the pasta and the staff inside. I'd recommend any of the pasta dishes, all are fresh and you can taste the quality of the ingredients.
