"We frequent this restaurant. We had reservations for and arrived at We requested a quiet booth in the dining room on our reservation. The hostess took us to the noisy bar and sat us by the entry door. We didn’t want to sit at the bar. We came here for a dining experience and didn’t want loud TV’s, kids running around, or bar noise. Otherwise, wouldn’t of bothered to make a reservation here. We told the hostess we didn’t want to sit at the bar. She disapproved and made us wait to see if it was okay with the waitstaff to seat us in the dining room. She looked at us and said ‘Just so you know, we don’t sit people in the dining room after three o’clock’. She repeated this to the point where it made us feel badly and we rushed through the meal. If you are going to take lunch reservations until how are people suppose to know you don’t like to seat people in the dining room after three now. We usually come near this time and never had a problem before. We don’t live near your restaurant and there are plenty of other high end restaurants that seat guests in dining rooms for lunch hours. We talked about not coming back to Burlington. Next time I’d rather travel to Chestnut Hill capital Grill and be greeted/treated well. Our meal was very good, the steak was done perfect. We were pleased with the table service."

"I discovered Bayberry Café through a Yelp list of top vegan restaurants in the U.S. and I am happy I finally had the chance to visit recently. The restaurant offers a variety of vegan dishes that resemble typical Chinese or Asian cuisine, including vegan sushi, bowls, soups, appetizers, salads, and entrees. Despite some menu items having unfamiliar names like sweet citrus soy protein or black pepper seitan, the online ordering process was easy using a QR code that displayed an menu with pictures of familiar Chinese dishes. I tried the sweet and sour soy protein which tasted similar to sweet and sour chicken, but was not as filling as real meat. The dish was well-prepared with a good balance of flavors and served with broccoli, bell pepper, and pineapple. The service was efficient and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of a large pub. I am grateful to fellow Yelpers for recommending this fantastic local, independent restaurant."

"I recently dined at Black and Blue and found my experience to be mixed. The blueberry cheesecake was decent—comparable to what you might find at the Cheesecake Factory—but it didn’t offer anything truly unique. The porterhouse steak, which I had high hopes for, arrived overcooked and under-seasoned, falling short of the robust flavor one expects from such a cut. Additionally, I did not receive the creamy spinach dish that I ordered, and the chocolate lava cake tasted more like a protein cake than a rich, indulgent dessert. To top it off, the menu is overpriced for the quality of food served. Overall, while there were a few redeeming qualities, the inconsistencies in execution combined with the steep pricing left me less than satisfied with my dining experience. Parking: Mall parking."

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"I wanted to like this place, came in for lunch on a Wednesday. The woman running the front was nice enough. Ordered Pad See Ew and a diet coke. They didn't ask what spice I wanted it was very bland. The brocolli and carrots were pretty hard and the chicken and noodles were luke warm. Definitely felt like they didn't take much care in preparing my meal, even though the place was dead. Also, warm diet coke served with ice immediately waters it down. Very disappointing all around. Parking: Side street parking only Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20"
