"The manager was incredibly rude and claimed that our reservation for outdoor seating did not exist. He insisted that at this restaurant, customers sit where they are told. Despite claiming a party had reserved the outdoor veranda, they never arrived. The restaurant did not follow COVID regulations as they were packed to full capacity with no spacing between tables. The manager was not wearing a mask and the waiter provided poor service. Overall, the food was not worth the price."

Been there many time and always enjoyed and appreciated. This time we were disappointed. Service was not up to past standard and food, although good was not as good as in the past. They did not have special menu only a la carte. Disappointing, may not be going back this year.

During my winter break visit to Long Branch, I dined at 656 and had a wonderful experience. Our server Cynthia recommended the delicious pulled beef nachos which the kids absolutely loved. She was knowledgeable and helpful with all menu items. The chicken franchise was outstanding, and the aged steak was worth every penny. The portions were generous, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Overall, a great dining experience at 656.
