This venue is absolutely beautiful. But the prep for the wedding was done an hour before guests were showing up. The staff was under staffed until dinner time. Some guests had to move chairs from the ceremony area to the tent so they could sit at the tables. Dinner was yummy but the food was taken away after about 30 minutes and some guests were still hungry, as there were many pans of food left uneaten. We had a wonderful time getting ready in the bridal suite but there was no fridge for bridal drinks. The most disappointing point was the set up. No linens. A Matter of Taste was a preferred vendor of Castle Farms, and upon further research, my husband and I chose them as our caterer for our wedding. We chose the buffet option because we are 25/26 years old, paid for our own wedding, and had 220 guests. The staff was extremely professional. One of the staff came up to us and greeted us, and told us that dinner is ready to be served (we were about 15-20 minutes behind schedule). First we visited them to possibly have our wedding on site but ended up going with another location (it was a tough choice between the two, their Location is BEAUTIFUL!-Right on the lake!!
