"I was a little ambivalent at first eating at Alex 's. You know the saying is don 't judge a book by its cover . Well I have. I 've been driving by this restaurant for over 7 yrs. Shame right, yes. To me mid eastern food ment Dearborn city area. Well today I learned very much not. I was treated by Michelle, my waitress. She 's a charmer who helped me with the menu. Finally I had opted for the lamb kabob and up graded to a tabouliie salad. I couldn 't have asked for a better dinner. The salad was great. The lamb kabob juicy cooked to perfect with rice. Though the restaurant is Alex 's Kabob House. I talked with Salam his son. He mentioned to me the restaurant has been there over 20 yrs. This business gets 5 stars plus. Very clean inside and the only thing better than the food is the staff itself. GREAT JOB"

I was just thinking about when you first opened. My dad had just passed and was tight, so I just wanted to see how much one kabob was, and i was asked how much I had which was literally a few dollars and was told that was enough. I was given a huge order enough to last me a couple days and I was so grateful. I always think about that, I didnt mention how hard things were, or that I had just had a horrible loss, it was just done to be kind. I will forever be grateful and remember that.

I highly recommend this place to anyone, from the great food, to the amazing customer service! Me and my boyfriend come here all the time to get chicken shawarma’s and they are always fresh and delicious! We ordered from door dash tonight and had some complications because they close at 10 and even though we called Alex’s to make sure they would still let our dasher pick up our order, door dash still canceled it, but Alex’s made sure we still got our order! We have no car right now and I’m eight months pregnant so they really have no idea how much their help means to me! They went above and beyond and I am more than grateful for it! Thank you!! : :
