"We went driving and just looked around town before craving Mediterranean food. We saw Ali Baba. It was our first time dining at this restaurant. We were immediately welcomed and chose our table. No one was there at the time. Sophie was our waitress and took our order. She was very friendly and attentive and made us feel comfortable. The food was very delicious. Our order went in. Around 5 other parties arrived and filled up the restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken breast sandwich. It is served on pita bread and stuffed with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tahini sauce. She ordered the Lamb Shawarma Plate. It had thinly sliced lamb marinated in Baba’s sauce and then grilled perfectly. Lamb was paired with rice, hummus, and Baba’s Salad. One item that stood out the most was the hummus. It was delectable, with just enough heat not to overpower it. We dipped the pita bread and even my sandwich. Finally, we had the Harisa. It was a light honey coconut cake. It had a cornbread texture. It had a light crumble. The honey helped balance it out. I like the healthy meal choices with the exotic flavors. These foods are made from scratch. You can taste the quality, richness, and flavor. I knew that we made a great decision to dine here. Has some of the best hummus around. Every dish is delicious. Great seasoned burgers for the less adventurous, with amazing fries! Baklava is heavenly!

The food here is so good! It's my favorite Mediterranean food place. The people are so nice too! We ordered catering from them for 40 and everyone left happy and stuffed! Thanks guys see you soon!

It used be my fav spot to go to in Simi, not anymore! Prices were inflated way too much and service hasn't gotten better. Food was delicious as usual, however was surprised to see $15 fries in kids menu lol

My family has been frequenting this Mediterranean restaurant for years. It's as authentic as it comes. Be sure to try the Chicken Shawarma, Beef Shawarma, Baba's Salad, Baba's Fries and the Falafel. Also the Hummus, do not forget the Hummus.

The interior of the restaurant is spacious and utilitarian in decor. The staff are friendly and attentive. The menu has plenty to choose from and the portion sizes ensure you will not go home hungry. The lamb shawarma was tender and well-seasoned. It paired perfectly with the house made hummus and an order of the pickled stuffed baby eggplant.

I had a quick lunch with my parents there recently. The place was clean, we were properly greeted and seated by the staff. The staff was welcoming and kind. The beef kufteh was great, my parents also liked hot tea with mint. The salad was good, but in my taste, it was a bit salty, also had a lot of feta cheese. The prices were reasonable. Overall a nice place!
