Loved dinner at the piano bar listening to Amandah Jantzen, whose musicalty touches one's soul! Food was superb...from the corn chowder to the veal marsala. Amore is a culinary gem with easy parking!

Small family owned place with Italian and Portuguese menu, we had the cod fritters and lobster claw and shrimp linguine which were both fabulous, attentive staff with live jazzy music made for a wonderful evening!

We went there for girls night out. The food was excellent. The meal was superb. The service was very good. There was a live musician playing piano and singing very suddenly in the corner so that it was not a distraction. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Visualizza piatti

I ordered a shrimp and grouper meal. The shrimp was decent, but the grouper was inedible. I took a bite and was immediately skeptical because it didn’t even look or taste like grouper. The fish was overcooked, thick, dense, and rubbery. I definitely won't be returning.

A delightful gem in a tired strip mall. At first glance you consider reconsidering… then you walk into a blast from the past! A fabulous family establishment that offers complete excellence. The flavors, the quality , the friendliness is over the top. Service 5 stars, food 5 stars, ambiance 5 stars, service 5 stars, price 5 stars. Enjoy your new favorite dining experience!

Our first meal at Amore last night couldn't have been better. We were warmly greeted, service was kind and attentive, and the food was WOW. Caesar and Caprese salads were fresh and seasoned perfectly. Bolognese and lobster ravioli were flavorful and the pasta was so tender and light. Pistachio Ricotta and Chocolate Mousse cakes were not overly sweet and a fine way to end the meal. We could see ourselves becoming regulars! Visualizza piatti

What a hidden gem! Everything about this restaurant is great. Live music, tasteful décor, very friendly hostess with a beautiful smile, excellent food. The restaurant has Italian and Portuguese menus, which served our party of 4 very well. My ravioli of the day were delicious and my cousin loved his Fireman Chouriço flamed-grilled at your table. Calamari appetizer and seafood entry was also excellent. We are definitely coming back to try something else.

we had not been to amore since it was located on longboat key, years ago; but we are thrilled to have rediscovered it. liana was great and the music very low key and elevator music. perfect for conversations without having to speak loudly. and the food was divine. i had the best caprese i've had in sarasota while my wife enjoyed a succulent lobster bisque. her short ribs were wonderful and i let liana choose between two meals for me. she chose the lobster and shrimp amore, which was not only extremely generous, it was delightful as well. we look forward to sharing a meal with friends our next visit. enjoy

My family and I planned a dinner at Amore for my dad’s 95th birthday! It happened last night… It was our first visit, and everyone was truly impressed. Our group selected from both Italian and Portuguese menus, and we were all extremely pleased with our appetizers and entrées. As for dessert, most of us ordered the famous pastéis de nata and no one was disappointed. They were truly delicious and authentic. I plan on going back and ordering some pasteis with the intent that I will keep them in my freezer and take them out as needed! I had no idea this was possible, right here in Sarasota.
