Anderson's Frozen Custard

The best ever! Best custard, best beef on wick, just everything! I could have their vanilla custard for every meal. I hope it never closes.

The ice cream cake had a very different and eye catching design! It also tasted very good! My first time buying an ice cream cake from Anderson’s; I’ll definitely be back!

Our first time here. The curly fries were great, the grilled chicken sandwiches we pretty cold but had great flavor and the restaurant was very clean. It was great to have outdoor seating so we could eat with our dogs. Visualizza piatti

The ice creams are ok. The bubble gum flavor had some gum pieces that are very hard to chew. The Oreo ice cream had tons of cookies which was nice, but the one with pretzels just a couple of pieces and the ice cream didn’t taste like much.

Cant go wrong! I've been to this Anderson's and the one in Williamsville on Main St. Always delicious food and custard/ice cream with good service. I associate this restaurant with Beef on Weck and Sahlen's hot dogs but the chicken tenders were just as good.

Clean, kid friendly. Make your own salad and vegan burger was delicious. Had the cookie dough ice cream pie... was hoping for a full crust, no cookie dough chunks in the actual ice cream but was still tasty. Always visit here. They have ice cream and food. Never tried the drive thru. Got a root beer milkshake, this was made with root beer syrup not from the fountain and the Choco Peanut Butter Passion. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Multiple registers to place order. Variety of food, drinks and ice cream flavors. Employees are nice and quick.

Only had soft serve ice cream, so I can't comment on anything else. Small cone was on what I would have considered a baby cone, and quantity was equivalent to that as well. Price was in line with small cone prices at other shops. Quality was very good, but overall I was disappointed. Service was OK. 4 stars is hoping that the food continues to be above average.

A WNY staple for almost 80 years! Mr Mrs. Carl Greta Anderson, opened the first Anderson’s Frozen Custard in the Bronx, NY. They say that missing family they returned to Buffalo, to open their second custard stand on Kenmore Avenue in 1947. From there they expanded to other locations, such as Tonawanda (pictured in the attached pics), Amherst, Williamsville, Lancaster...The Amherst location lacks some of the initial charm of some of the older locations but is clean, updated and comfortable. There is a drive thru window and outdoor seating when the weather permits. You order at the front counter and they call your name when your food is ready for pick up.
