We called ahead to ask if we could dine in, but were not informed that the restaurant only provided polyfoam boxes and plastic utensils for eating. It was disappointing to learn that they did not have proper plates or cutlery. We were surprised that a restaurant in this area would not have these basic amenities. This lack of tableware definitely affected our experience. The food itself was just average, and we believe it would have been much better if served fresh on plates. My family and I visited this restaurant over Thanksgiving weekend and were pleasantly surprised to find that they serve Peruvian cuisine! I was thrilled because there aren't many Peruvian restaurants in the area. Actually, there is only one other that I know of, but it is located out of the way and a bit pricey for my liking. However, this restaurant is a hidden gem. The service provided by the lady, I believe her name is Lissy, was exceptional and made us feel right at home. I just left this restaurant, of which I have been a customer since it opened some time ago, now under new ownership. My experience today was horrible!!! And it all happened because my father left part of the bandeja paisa to take home and asked the waiter for chimichurri to spread on his meat later at home. The Chimichurri at this place is served in mini plastic containers of less than 1/4 ounce. The waiter returned to tell us that the chef had sent word that the chimichurri was exclusive to the restaurant, and therefore they could not give it to us.
