"Edit 12/19: from 5 stars to 3 stars. Today was the 2nd time we've been here since the last review. $17.00 burger without fries is kinda wild for it to be far beyond the requested temp. The current version of the Korean chicken sandwich came to the table with a soggy bottom bun to the point where it had to be eaten with a fork and knife. We used to come here a lot, but for the price it just doesn't feel worth it anymore. Older Review: This place is fantastic. They close for an hour after normal lunchtime, so call and make sure they're open if you're eating at an odd time. Chef Carlos doesn't miss. Make sure you get the truffle fries."

Great food, innovative menu, and exceptional service! Had a great salad (forgot the name) with mixed greens, craisins, candied nuts and goat cheese. Delicious! Also had the sesame lo Meir which was very flavorful and full of veggies and cashews. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Like the town of Litchfield, this is a lovely little cafe restaurant. Really warm and cozy interior. The waitress Courtney was terrific too. Servers were good but for the second time we came in in the afternoon and they made a big to do about us not having a reservation but only two tables had guests and they shoved us into the front corner of the room between the door and the pastry counter. Tasty seasonal food without being overly fussy. The Scallop Succotash was delicious with a good balanced creamy polenta base and perfectly cooked scallops on top. The Street Corn Brussels were tasty, well colored with chunks of bacon, and a little maple syrup. A bit sweet for me, but a good concept anyway. We caught the tail end of the Octoberfest menu, so we also tried the potato pancakes and the apple strudel, which were both simply excellent. A fantastic casual dining experience.
