"Lunch for 4 on a very nasty winter day???? Undivided attention as we were the only customers. Oh what a meal. Soup to coffee and desert, almost 2 hours of amazingly delicious food. We all sampled multiple appetizers, soups and beautiful salads. Everyonethought that theirs was the best. On to 4 different entrees, each plated with great interest. As we all shared bites we allcould say that every choice was wonderful. We know that we were spoiled by such attention, but even if the restaurant had beenpacked we are confident that the experience would have been as great. A true Keswick Gem."

Ran out of food. Over all taste of food was below average. Only bright spot was the octopus appetizer.

I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. Overall, the food was disappointing, with the octopus appetizer being the only standout dish. Visualizza piatti

It's sad when a restaurant you used to go to looses it's touch. I'm part Greek and not that I'm a connoisseur of Greek food but the quality of the food has gone downhill. Each time we order here it seems different, but not in a good way. The only thing weorder now is the appetizer. I'm not sure if the chef is different or there is a new owner. This used to be zagot referred.

It's disappointing to see a restaurant I once loved lose its appeal. As a Greek, though not a gourmet expert in Greek cuisine, I've noticed a decline in the food quality. Every time we order, the dishes feel inconsistent—and unfortunately, not for the better. Now, the only dish we trust to order is the appetizer. I’m unsure if the chef has changed or if there’s a new owner, but this place used to be known as Zagot.

Havent been here in a while and it used to be great. It's a Friday night at 8 and the restaurant was empty. The food was cold and tasted microwaved and the service was rushed. They were on the verge of closing for the night when we walked in but told uswe could sit. Their posted hours were 10 PM. Honestly if this is how they prepare food and servers treat the tables, I'd besurprised they're not on the verge of closing for good. Wont be back any time soon. Visualizza piatti

I hadn't been to Athena in a while, and it used to be excellent. I visited on a Friday night at 8 PM, but the restaurant was empty. The food arrived cold and tasted as if it had been microwaved, and the service was disappointing. They were nearly closing, though their hours stated they were open until 10 PM, but we said we could stay. Honestly, if this is how they’re managing food and service, I wouldn’t be surprised if they close down soon. That said, I’ll give them another chance.

"We each started with a slice, which arrived quickly and hot—just how it should be. After our first bites, we exchanged approving nods. Unlike many other pizza places in Philadelphia and its suburbs that tend to overdo the cheese, leading to it sliding off with a single bite, that isn’t the case at Bruno's! Another highlight is the pizza sauce—it’s robust, sweet, and hints at herbs and spices, just as good pizza sauce should be. Overall, the pizza strikes the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and a crust that’s both crispy and chewy—truly pizza perfection. Next, we tried their cheesesteak with American cheese and onions. They use fresh rolls that are soft yet remarkably hold all the meat and cheese together, making for a fantastic cheesesteak. What sets Bruno's cheesesteak apart is that they season their meat, offering a flavor profile that’s much richer than the typical, dry meat and cheese you find at many other places. The combination of the seasoned meat, onions, and cheese in that soft roll makes this one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had in Philadelphia. I’ve been to all the popular spots: Steve's Prince of Steaks, Geno's, Pat's, Jim's on South St., and Dalessandro's Steaks, and I can confidently say you need to try a cheesesteak from Bruno's to understand what I mean. To finish our meal, we ordered chicken wings. They are breaded and fried in the style that many of us Philadelphians grew up enjoying from local seafood places and pizzerias. The wings were cooked perfectly, and that first bite into the crispy breading had me hooked. I read some reviews claiming the chicken was undercooked, but I would have to disagree. It’s possible for properly cooked chicken to look red or even bleed at the thigh bone due to pigments from the bone marrow seeping through the thin bones of these young birds, causing a slight tint. I recommend enjoying a slice while waiting for your pizza to be ready. If you’re in the area, this is the place to visit! Pro tip: reheat your pizza on the stove to regain that fresh-from-the-oven taste and texture. Avoid microwaving your leftovers—don’t be an amateur!"
