"It's one of those 1 in every 20 restaurant experiences. There are still places like this, but they are far and few between. Super cool twenties decor, but what really takes the cake here is the quality and flavor of the amazing amazing amazing food. I mean holy cow their clam chowder is amongst the top 3 I've ever tried in the United States, the truffle oil French fries almost made me cancel my trip, the shaved prime rib Philly was to die for and even the burger was more like something you would get at the Ritz Carlton not The Dalles Oregon. Someone in the kitchen really knows how to cook. It will be the ONLY restaurant I eat at everytime I travel to Montana. Wish I wasn't in a hurry to get back on the road because I can't wait to try their dessert on my next pass through. Staff was also very knowledgeable on the menu items. Waited and watched a long time waiting for the Baldwin Saloon to reopen following 'covid, ' however found the menu wanting nothing exciting or juicy and of course, prices have gone way up. Haven 't gone back.

Husband loved his burger and fries. He very, very rarely likes anything that much. My burrata salad was okay. Peach cocktail was okay. Friendly and helpful staff. This historical site used to be an icon, great food, service and the informational building. I can understand the issues with covid and the new owners have deteriorated the menu, are hardly ever open and have lost their chef. Its unfortunate, one of the best in the town is now lost. who knows when and how they will be in town?
