"This has become our usual Friday dinner spot; we rarely miss it. We typically order sushi, which we absolutely love. It's tough to find a roll that we don't enjoy! The staff is always friendly, though they can sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed on particularly busy nights. Regardless, the food is consistently excellent. In fact, after two weekends away from this place, I’m really looking forward to going back!"

"The food was delicious! You need to order the seafood tempura, flaky, light and covered with a air puffed garlic! Amazing. The only issue that we had was our seating, when we first arrived. On th Open Table reservation site, I specify mentioned that it was our anniversary. Silly me, I was expecting them to read and maybe do a little something. When we arrived, they wanted to seat us right T the front booth, right behind the hostess entrance! NOT romantic to overhear every conversation they were having. We asked our waiter if he could moves us to a another quieter table, he wasn’t very accommodating. But I didn’t take his no for an answer, asked another person that looked to be more in charge, and they were able to move us to a better table. I would got back"

"My wife and I went to the restaurant based on a Happy Hour promotion we saw. After we were seated in one of the 20 empty tables, we were told that if we want any of the Happy Hour specials we would have to go and sit at the bar. Different drink and dinner prices all part of their Happy Hour, but it was only offered to you if you got up and moved to another part of the restaurant. I repeat, the restaurant was virtually empty! I was not going to be made to endure a walk of shame and feel to be made little for asking for the Happy Hour promotion and so we stayed where were sat, paid way too much and left. I don 't like to be tricked and put in that position, so I will certainly not go back to this restaurant."

"Walk in and go to the sushi bar see the variety of fresh fish. Look around at what people are eating it is likely authentic Japanese food. Recently, I was in another Japanese style restaurant and the server had no idea what tomago or hamachi kama was. He was familiar with every tempura/cream cheese/mayo heavy roll they made, however. Imasa's menu offers both tempura/cream cheese/mayo and more authentic dishes too.They also offer some Chinese style dishes like sesame balls or dumplings. Their udon noodles with African lobster tail that tastes like the Chinese food of my childhood. We're hooked on that dish.You can make up your own dish and they'll gladly oblige. We took the house roll and replaced some of the ingredients. They did such a great job that when we go more often than we expected we order a couple of them, along with the other dishes. We have leftovers, but this is our typical delicious meal:Veggie rollsCooked salmon inside and outside a roll filled with avocado, asparagus, etc.Udon noodles with lobster tail2 pieces of nigiri we mix it up4 pieces of tomago(an order of sesame balls and more tomago to go!)We use the leftovers for the next meal and are happy to eat it! The service is spot on and you don't have to flag down a server. I love their willingness to accommodate us and their execution of flavorful dishes. Yes, we're planning on returning this weekend. When we were last there, they were preparing 2 huge boats of sushi and 6 smaller boats of sushi to deliver to a party. So I think the word is out their food is fresh and tasty!"

"We had a short stay in the area and wanted to visit a Cuban Cafe or spot with Cafe Con Leche. We couldn't make it to Miami so this spot came up. Didn't really stand out so we missed it and needed to turn around. A smaller spot that was getting ready for Lunch around 10:30. Our Cafe Con Leches were excellent! We wanted Breakfast so ordered a couple of the Omelette sandwiches with Bacon vs Ham (which they switched for us) and a Veggie Omelette Sandwich. Enjoyed all. That said the Veggie stood out. Home Fries were excellent. Friendly and helpful people behind the counter. Most definitely a Local's spot. We saw Pastries and they had a list of Specialty Drinks. Wish we were here longer to try lunch as it looked amazing!"
