As for parking, it can get quite busy, and the front lot was full when we arrived, but there's a spacious free lot behind the building that made it easy to find a place to park.

Back and better than ever! Inside was always comfortable, but the renovation has stepped it up. With the larger menu that kept all the classics, Barsotti's is hard to beat for neighborhood Italian. Also, an awesome value for high-end Italian. Veal parm is my go-to, but it is all great.

This restaurant offers the most inconsistent shrimp scampi I've ever encountered. I gave Carbone's (now Barsotti) four opportunities to impress me, but today I decided it's time to stop coming here for good. A straightforward yet brilliant experience from one of the city's top chefs. The renovation creates a much more welcoming environment compared to when it was Carbone’s, offering a lively atmosphere that's perfect for dining solo at the bar while savoring an outstanding meal. Every item on this menu is exceptional—everything is made from scratch and extraordinarily fresh.

I have had a fantastic experience at Carbone's, thanks to the manager Mark Jodinskas. The service was flawless, the food and cocktails were spectacular. I recommend Carpaccio followed by the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni. Not that this was a deciding factor for me, but Kim Kardashian has said that the Rigatoni dish was her favorite pasta dish ever. I highly recommend this pampering experience!

This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. The ricotta and garlic bread appetizer was disappointing; the garlic bread was tough and served lukewarm, and the ricotta was unwhipped and difficult to spread. The lasagna was overly watery and lacked flavor, while the veal piccata was fried and flavorless. To top it off, the server seemed unsure about how the dishes were prepared. I won't be returning. On a more positive note, the garlic bread served with ricotta was delightful and clearly a crowd favorite. The ravioli fritti accompanied by red sauce was also impressive. The creste with Sunday gravy was good, but I have an Italian wife who truly knows her pasta. The standout dish, however, was the meatball hero. It had just the right amount of meatball, topped with mozzarella and sauce on beautifully crispy bread. I’m looking forward to returning to try more of the menu!

The revamped version of the former Carbone's restaurant features significantly improved decor that matches the exceptional Italian cuisine coming from the kitchen. The pastas and sandwiches are consistently excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the Antipasti Salad. However, during my last visit, the service felt somewhat disorganized. It appeared that the staff wasn't fully prepared, and there was some confusion regarding their roles. I hope this improves over time. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed family dinner.

We were in for the reopening under their new name as Barsotti’s and had a fantastic meal. So good to see our old favorites on the menu (the green salad with the walnuts is always on our table but great to see the new additions. The Cacio e Pepe might be the best version I’ve ever had and the red snapper with spinach was delicious. We had really missed the fish with Texas cream peas that had been missing from the menu for so long. So glad to see a fish dish back on the menu — it was perfectly cooked with an amazing crust.
