"We visited this restaurant for the first time last night. My dad and I were looking for a nice dinner, and Char did not let us down! The fried green tomatoes were just okay, but the redfish with broccoli was fantastic. The pecan pie with vanilla really stole the spotlight. We’ll definitely be returning soon. While the overall prices are on the higher side, I enjoyed the restaurant and the food, so I wouldn’t mind the cost. I can’t believe we hadn’t tried Char sooner!"

"I cannot lie about this place. I had a doordash delivery going to Fondren. Whatever they ordered smelled like gold in the air. It filled my car and I cut my Dashing shift short and went back and got dinner. When just the smell makes you say, ok I'm gonna go spend some cash then you know it's good. The food was fresh, the rice cooked perfect not over cooked. It's right where you can buy authentic gourmet soy sauce (Which there IS a difference) .. Every single thing I can say is, go there and if you don't love your meal I will pay for it."

"We got here at 5 pm on Black Friday. We had a wonderful meal Tuna Carpaccio for an appetizer with a whole grain mustard sauce different bit it was great. Tuna was fresh and the sauce tangy and balanced. We both ordered hibachi filet mignon for me and chicken for my partner. Hibachi came with soup, salad, fried rice, and vegetables. I haven't had fried rice in a while, and this was the best fried rice I've ever had. Portion sizes were generous without being outrageous. Our server and Hibachi chef were awesome and attentive. Drinks were strong but not overpowering. Atmosphere a little stark but the service made up for it. Absolutely would recommend."

"Best FOOD I've had in a while .Had red beans and rice ..loved it my kids love their burgers and they had the tenders too the 1st time .I also tried the quesidillas they were awful they were wet at the bottom not certain why .the chicken taste like cow dong tho I never tried it ..But everything else the food atmosphere nice beautiful for whatever reason it gives me romantic vibes .also the waiters workers all of them are SUPER. very very nice they actually engage with their customers with sincere speech and attitudes they ROCKKKKKKKKK literally they make the place so fun .I feel so blessed when I come here just because of them .they work hard .eevrytime I try to tip them good .Food is excellent. Drinks are amazing shots good price and authentic"

"I was there with a group. We were placed in a rather large secluded room. The atmosphere was nice, but the room was a little too dark for me. The appetizers and the meal were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the pimento cheese toasts but the charcuterie board had a nice variety of sauces, nuts, meats and cheeses. For my meal, I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly but unfortunately the seasoning was a touch too salty. The cut was thick enough that I just cut the salty bit away, but it was slightly disappointing since I do enjoy the seared portion of meat in my bite for texture Friends who ordered the shrimp and grits had such a generous serving that they took a meal home for the next day. They were equally impressed with the taste of their meal. Both the key lime pie and the bread pudding were very large servings and tasted so good, we ate every bite!
