"After 8 months of living in the Big Country, I have found great people but felt like I was in a food desert. I finally made it to the Beehive! Oh my goodness. My faith in great food is restored. Like all place these days, they are struggling with staffing. But the food was excellent. I had a small filet with a baked potato and a side of grilled shrimp. Steak was world class. Potato was good. Might skip the grilled shrimp next time. For a small place in a small town, this was a refreshing step into high end cuisine. For quaint or romantic, wait for the dining room. For quicker service and a little livelier, sit at the bar and what the goings on!"

We stopped in here after a day setting our lease up. Have been coming through Albany for years and never tried to stopped. So glad we did. We had the rack of lamb special. OMY it was delicious. The atmospher and setting was historical and love the staff it was difiantly a place to come. And will again. Visualizza piatti

My mother who is in a wheelchair and I went there on 9/20/2022 and it was an amazing experience. They staff was very nice and very accommodating for my mother. Jessica was incredibly sweet as was the other waitress. The food was amazing. My mother and I have already decided that will be going to this restaurant whenever we visit Albany.

I'm a longtime carnivore... The filet I had was THE BEST EVER. Excellent food and excellent service. Don't be fooled by the exterior. Thank you Ali and Patty and the rest of the staff for a great experience, great service and a wonderful meal. Get yourself to Beehive in Albany,TX. I promise you it is worth the drive. Also,a great little town!

All you can eat shrimp?? More like you get one bowl and never get checked on again. No shrimp. Empty drinks. Worst service I've ever had in my life. A blonde headed lady I think she said her name was Jess was obviously intoxicated. Would not get the hint to leave us alone. If there was an option to not leave any stars, that would be my option. Horrible! Will never return again. Visualizza piatti

The chicken-fried steak is fantastic: crunchy outside, juicy inside. It's huge and comes with a baked potato and a salad, which you make yourself at the salad bar. What I wouldn't order again is the Burgundy sautéed mushrooms because they didn't have any flavor. The restaurant's interior design is beautiful: entirely covered in wood and dimly lit. Note that Albany is a dry town. While they do serve alcohol, you must pay a $3 surcharge to become a temporary club member.

This place has decent enough food. The burger is very thick. Come hungry, but expect a belly ache if you finish their portions. The restaurant entrance itself is confusing. There are three different doors. Guess which one isn't locked and then help yourself in. We sat in the bar area. Trying to read their menu is a chore especially given how poorly lit the entire restaurant is. Some food prices are randomly excluded. The wait staff was kind, but got confused about what table ordered what food when everything came out.

"Multiple people recommended Krua Thai in Abilene and I can sure see why! One of them mentioned to grab it to go and I certainly didn 't understand this was a thing. There are only about 4 to 5 tables inside, and the staff will not move them together to accommodate larger parties. Your whole party must be present to be seated but you can tell they certainly prefer you to take your food to go. Regardless, we had seven of us who chose to be seated. You can definitely tell they are authentically Thai based on this level or lack thereof service. I love that the bottom of every page in the menu states food cannot be returned if too spicy . We ordered a little bit of everything- fried spring rolls, fried shrimp rolls, fried tofu, pad see ew, pad, Thai, panang curry, and Thai basil. Everything was incredibly delicious and this is one of the best Thai food restaurants I 've had in all of Texas. Their Thai tea is one of the best quality teas I 've had the pleasure of drinking, although it wasn 't as sweet as I would prefer. I would definitely chuckle given a Thai iced tea is 2.99 while a Thai tea with no ice is 4.99. We got everything with mild spice as we were certainly scared off between the signs around the restaurant and in the menu. It was the perfect spice for me as someone who enjoys a tiny kick. When you are finished, you pay at the front and they do not take any type of tap payments. I will definitely be back every time I pass through Abilene! Although I 'll likely take it to go next time!"

"Firstly, the bridal suite in the upstairs warehouse area either lacked air conditioning or the system wasn't functioning correctly on our big day, making it uncomfortably warm. Secondly, we had brought our own cigars, and while the coordinator initially informed us that they sell cigars and that smoking was permitted outside, she later changed her tune when she saw us using a butane torch lighter—standard for cigar smokers. She claimed it was a fire hazard and questioned why we couldn't just use matches. Fortunately, one of my groomsmen pointed out that it would take an entire book of matches to light even one cigar. Thirdly, our wedding party was wrongly accused on two occasions of bringing in outside alcohol, which simply wasn't true. My best man had an empty flask that he placed on the table while we were smoking. This raised questions when the coordinator came to confront us about the lighter. Additionally, because we had children in our bridal party, we provided Hawaiian punch upstairs for them, and we were incorrectly accused of drinking that as well. Fourthly, while my maid of honor was in the bridal suite tidying up, the coordinator came up to interrogate her, reminding her that everything needed to be put back as it was found, and proceeded to question her about the Hawaiian punch for the kids. Fifthly, we had chosen a cash bar, and I mistakenly thought this would allow guests to open a tab with a card. As a result, all of our guests ended up using the main bar, which closed down very early because of the confusion. There were several other issues with how customer service was managed, but I don't want to go into all of them. Having worked as head of security for a major bar/event venue in Fort Worth, I’ve never encountered such poor customer service—especially considering we had just paid $2,500 to rent part of the venue. We were respectful and courteous to the staff at The Mill, but we did not receive the same respect in return. Although the venue itself is beautiful, the customer service needs significant improvement. Until these issues are addressed, I would not recommend hosting your wedding here."
