"I was overall disappointed. I felt like we were an inconvenience to the hosts and the server was barely present. It was a special occasion and I felt like they wanted us to just not be there. The beet salad and the leek soup were absolutely delish. I would come back just for those. But would have second thoughts based on the lackluster service. The scallops were in a soup that was not appetizing to look at or taste. My steak was delish but was overcooked to a medium as opposed to a medium rare that I had asked. The potatoes with my steak had no seasoning at all. They tasted as if they came out of a microwave. Just being honest. I did love the decor. Although the bathrooms felt dirty and cheap with rocks in the sink which felt like they were just out of place in the sink. Anyways, it wasn’t what I expected. But that beer salad and leek soup were sooooo good. It could have been an off night in the kitchen. We came at opening so maybe the server/bartender was just waking up. I don’t know. But I was hoping it would have been a better experience."

"This was an amazing place to eat. I was slightly intimidated but how packed it was but I soon found out that it was because of how delicious everything was My fiance and I started off with a couple of drafts out of very large variety of beers and the waiter had no trouble recommending the perfect selections for us both. Our appetizer was the Cheese Curds with ranch and WOW absolutely amazing! They were like Mozzarella sticks that just didn't taste Italian. It went very well with the beers Then we ordered our entrees: St. Patty's Melt with a side of Tabouli and South City Chicken with a side of Pub Fries. "I've been to Juniper once before. My visit tonight was a surprise and it was a good one. Juniper has a crisp, bright but down to earth feel. Comfortable and cozy and polite and proper. Juniper is very service oriented and ensures a good table. I found ourwaitstaff to be very considerate about interacting with the table. The reservation was for 6pm. The evening was splendid . Weate and drank until around 7:30. For our opening aperitif: Age of Aquarius, Apple infused old fashioned. This old fashionedwas delicious. They infuse apples and whiskey. The whiskey aspect of the flavor is very muted allowing the apple flavor toreally mix with the cherry and orange zest. For our meal: Spicy Chicken, Grilled Lamb Chops. I have been craving good lambfor literally 2 years. My lamb chops, medium rare, were done perfectly down to the sear marks. The meat fell off. TheMediterranean flavor was perfect. It was served on a flavorful bed of taboli infused with fat orange slices and cherry tomatoes.There was a bed of plum like jam. Bites of the lamb with some jam was everything I wanted in a bite. The spicy chicken wasserved on a bed of coconut Jasmine rice. My better half said it was like eating a cloud and a bite of heaven."
