The Shawarma sandwich was big magnificent, full of flavor!! Their bathrooms are pretty nice too.

It's LOUD and always packed but thats because it's delicious!! Gino's grinder and tomato basil soup is a dream!

I'm a quite particular eater who appreciates intricate textures, flavors, presentation, and good value for the price. This restaurant came highly recommended, and on my first visit, it exceeded all my expectations! Now, I find myself there at least once a week for a sandwich, dessert, or sometimes both. If you like carrot cake, definitely try theirs—it’s amazing! That's all I'll share for now, as I'm worried my other favorite dishes might sell out when I want them.

Today’s menu (April 2024 in posted photo) shows how the prices have risen in 5 years. Food is still good, but the turkey sandwich Avi’s Avo was enough to cut into 4 pieces. Lots of ciabatta bread but plenty of turkey avocado, too. Big sandwich was not a big problem but maybe servings have gotten bigger along with prices? A cup of soup is still a cup ? though. Seasonal gazpacho was tasty. Service was good. Both cashier and runner who delivered food were helpful. Kitchen felt slow. Longish wait at 11:15 before lunch rush started. It looked like this spot has been refreshed recently, so relatively clean. A solid choice for lunch.

It blows my mind that this can go so far you are one for 11 In getting my sandwich right! 10 times you screwed it up what do you get money for giving away tomatoes how hard is it to say no tomato you got to be kidding me what do you got idiots... And you give me terrible emotional feelings as if I reject the sandwich and then it gets wasted because you're too stupid to not give tomatoes! How freaking difficult is it to not put on tomatoes! I'm so completely pissed! I refer your restaurant and bring people there and you screw my order my order! Getting pretty damn pissed hope this goes public in a bunch of people see it damn! I loved coming here but will never go back. It seems the front house staff know nothing about handling food and cleanliness. Yesterday I stopped in for tea and a Russian tea cookie. The cashier was wearing gloves. Proceeded to take my cash and count back my change. She than reached in the display case and gave me my cookie. How disgusting is that. Handling cash and than not using clean gloves, a tissue or tongs. What's worse is all the front people were doing the same thing. Does Beyond Bread not require the staff to take a food handlers class? Even still, it should be a no brainer to not handle cash and food like that. Changing gloves or washing hands is simple.

I always order from this restaurant for our office, and I usually handle the calls. When I reached out to place a large order, I spoke with Anna, the manager. Unfortunately, she was not very kind and made me feel inadequate in my ordering skills. Her approach to customer service was quite unprofessional. At the end of our conversation, when I mentioned needing the order picked up at a specific time, she told me, "You should have mentioned that before placing the order." Having worked in the industry for five years myself, I know that even if a customer specifies a pickup time, it's our responsibility to accommodate that request rather than placing the blame on them.

I opted for the soup special, which comes in large or small sizes with a choice of bread, while my friend ordered Maya's Special along with chips and a soda. When my soup arrived, I noticed some green bits in my tomato soup—it turned out to be basil. I mentioned to the server that I thought it was jalapeño, which I love, and she kindly offered to bring some out for me. It really enhanced my soup and the grain bread I chose. I truly had a wonderful dining experience, not just lunch, and I will definitely be returning! I highly recommend giving it a try; it’s worth it!
