"I'm so glad I decided to stop at this restaurant! It's a small-town diner that’s linked to a sale barn. The interior is wonderfully eclectic and has a western vibe. The food was absolutely AMAZING. My friend and I really needed a good meal after a long journey from Memphis to San Antonio. I ordered the Sirloin Steak with a loaded potato and salad bar. Although the salad bar looked small, it had a wide variety of toppings. The steak was cooked to perfection! My friend chose the catfish, mac and cheese, and salad. He enjoyed the catfish, and the mac and cheese was great as well. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and we will definitely stop by again on our way back!"

Excellent food and great service. A rare hole in the wall at the livestock auction. Fried catfish, onion rings fried okra. Extra large portion and good price.

Great chicken fried steak with salad and frits. The chicken fried steak has a good piece of meat and is fresh hand crushed one of the best I had in the lonely star state! Pies are from this world to leave the room.

This is what Texas roadhouse trys to be and fails. Billys was down home fantastic. Food and service top notch all the way. Huge Texas size portions. Our waiter Bubba was the nicest guy ever and no request was too much. Heck he even tossed in a salad for me.

We visited the restaurant late on a Friday night during the week of July 4th, and it was quite busy. Our waiter greeted us promptly, which was nice. The fish dinners we ordered were absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were generous, with plenty of options to choose from. The homemade macaroni and cheese was outstanding. We will definitely return!

Holy Hell that was good. Boy had chicken fingers. Wife had a burger. I had the Texas sized Chicken Fried Steak with Loaded Double Mashed Potato’s. Sour cream on the side. Freakin awesome. Discovered this great spot while heading through town for the 1st time. Was a great experience. The service was excellent the waiters were so cheerful, nice and made sure we were taken care of. Best steak I've had in a long time and the man loved his catfish. Kid got chicken fried steak and the macaroni and cheese was so good and the best sweet tea. Will definitely come back next time we make it back this way.

The Flatiron 8oz sirloin was flavorful, although not cooked right. It came out medium rare, I told the waitress I wanted a thin line if pink but not dry. She suggested medium. This wasn't that, but still enjoyable, cause it's good beef. Onion rings are fantastic, and pretty nice salad bar. My cousin had the chicken fried steak and couldn't finish it, said it was great, as was the gravy. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Down home atmosphere. You won't be sorry you went. Portions decent sized, and decent value for the money. It's on the Texas bucket list and should be on yours!
