"It was mediocre. It is s a typical hotel restaurant. We were there for the Christmas Eve menu but didn’t do anything special other than a price fix menu. The food was ok. The duck was cooked ok but small and not on the bone which would have been my preference."

Always a good meal and if you’re fortunate usually music on Fri Sunday nights. Staff is very professional and don’t be afraid to ask for substitutions on the menu.

"We booked this after doing some Christmas shopping in riverhead. Loved the quaint charm and decor! Had the best oysters ever! My husband had the scallops and he was in his glory. We each had the bias in burger which was delicious. We actually could have split the burger! It was huge and thick. They had many other dishes on menu that I want to try! We will be back. The service was exceptional and they were very attentive. Ps my husband loved his **** Mary and I had a delicious German beer."

"I was on a mission for chicken wings, so we stopped at Diggers. The atmosphere was friendly, our server Christian’s srvice was on the point, and made the proposal to get the marinated Steak medals on our Caesar Salad. We ordered a dozen, and the cook allowed us to get half drums in the hot, and the other half flats in medium. They were delicious! The Caesar Salad was huge and plunged with the Steak medallions that were generous. We also had a side of fries that were served wonderfully crispy. Loves this place in downtown Riverhead!"

"On two occasions in December, my husband and I had the good fortune of discovering an amazing place to eat where gluten free dining is usual fare! All items on the menu can be adjusted accordingly to your needs with ease! Come, sit, relax, and enjoy butternut squash soup and a goat cheese with fig jam grilled cheese sandwich! Hanger steak and hamburger with hand-cut steak fries a great choice. Wait staff could not be more attentive!"

"I work just down the road from here and have been going there for lunch for years to get pizza. They have the absolute best pizza in Riverhead. My favorite is their grandma margherita slice, omg the fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, garlic and pesto drizzle is amazing! Not to mention I can never eat a sausage and peppers slice again from anywhere else and enjoy it as much, they literally make sausage and peppers, sautéed garlic, tomatoes and onions with the pan sauce and put it on a deep dish pizza! I rarely ever give reviews, I should have given this place one years ago. Thank you for all the amazing food! Also much love to my friends at the counter Jessli, Kenny, and Brian (hope I'm spelling your names right) who always make me feel at home. One of these days I HAVE to try a special, every time I see the specials board at lunch it kills me lol. If you try this place, you will like it. I'm pretty sure they couldn't make bad food even if they were trying."

"Used to be better. Food was bland and soggy, frys tasted /looked old, cheese on burger was like soup, lacked flavor we once remembered the food having , even though it's take out we got it should not be swimming in dressings and a soggy mess. The bun was sad and deflated looking. I know a lot of restaurants start to lack effort and serve horrible food before closing, could this be the case ? Hate to leave a review like this but I really want resturants to stop scamming people and I find it sad I do better at IHOP. When I want to support local businesses ?"
