"First time visiting Blake's Bistro for dinner. Our server was excellent very helpful in assisting us in deciding on what to eat and keeping our drinks replenished. Our food was cooked perfectly as well. The reason we went to Blake's was to hear Taylor Lauryn on the piano. Couldn't hear her at Blake's but after we went around the corner to the bar and had drinks so we could hear Taylor. She was awesome! I would go every Thursday night just to listen to her play and sing."

We took our teen grandchildren to Blake’s Bistro for the Christmas Eve breakfast brunch. The food was delicious and our server, Kortney, was friendly, attentive and pleasant. We definitely recommend Blake’s Bistro for dining out.

Blakes was awesome! We wanted to see the fabulous Christmas Decorations at San Luis and decided to have dinner at Blakes. It was very good, and the portions were very generous!!! I would highly recommend Blakes to any one who is wanting to dine while in Galveston. You can come casual or dressed up.

There were many servers and few customers so you would think the service would be good, but it was terrible. The prime rib was over cooked. The server would disappear for long periods of time. Took 10 minutes to get soup spoons, 15 minutes for steak knives, 30 plus minutes for a glass of wine.... We were hoping for a great Christmas meal, but were very disappointed.

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. My family and I had brunch at Blake’s Bistro and the food was delicious. We will definitely return to this wonderful restaurant and highly recommend. Waiter was 10/10 for his customer service and Maitre D’ was v welcoming. Thank you! As an added bonus hotel lobby was dressed ready for Christmas complete with moving reindeer. Fantastic hotel.
