"We love the Wednesday tasting menu, which is addtional to the main menu. The tasting menu is always different each week and always delicious. The sauces Chef Anthony creates are the best and Scott our server is always attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable. The third course of mushrooms in a copper pot with it's delicious sauce had me humming and the Filet Mignon au poivre was the best, absolute perfection. Chef Anthony is amazing!"

"After customers who arrived after us were served and left, an employee informed us that our order had not been placed by our waitress. The waitress then claimed that the kitchen was backed up, which was untrue as we saw other tables being served. The owner avoided us and did not address the issue, only offering a $3.00 discount for their mistake. This is the second and final negative experience I have had at this restaurant. I try to support local businesses, but waiting over an hour and being lied to is not acceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere."

"This was our first visit to Nocella, but it will not be our last. It is a small restaurant with what appeared to be a lot of takeout orders being filled. We had a table for four. I highly recommend reservations as there were approximately six tables in the small dining room. Don't let this stop you from visiting however. There was one waiter for the whole dining space, but he did a great job. He was friendly and competent. We were not lacking for attention. The food was delicious. The portion sizes were huge. We each ordered our own entree and we shared two appetizers. We could have easily shared three entrees among the four of us. We all took home food as I can't imagine anyone be hungry enough to eat their whole entree. We will definitely be going back to this little neighborhood gem."

"Great food and nice atmosphere. But I was dining with 2 others and we were finishing our wine and conversation and the waitress told us we needed to leave. That there were other people waiting and she needed the table. I understand that but there were other booths in closed sections. She could have asked us to move there to finish our wine or seated the other guests there and picked then up. But there was no need to be rude. All the people in my party were longtime servers we would’ve never treated our guests like that while we were serving. Even if you are frustrated that a table is finishing their wine, you should never tell people they need to go! We had tipped our server almost 50% because we knew we had spent a while at the table. It was totally rude and made for a sad end to what was otherwise a great night out."

"Waiting to come here for a while. Wife and I decided to go for lunch for out 11th wedding anniversary lunch, we have two young kids so it's hard for dinner. I was able to make a 12 o'clock lunch reservation on a Friday although when we go there it didn't seem necessary. Also tried to move the reservation to 1130 but they didn't allow it even though they were open. It was a nice day so we decided to eat outside. There was a very pleasant view, a fountain in the back, nice garden area which blocked the street. We ordered the meat and cheese plate. That was superb it was quite a variety for the value, would definitely recommend it. I ordered the pork chops and was able to replace with spinach as a side while my wife ordered the pasta. The pork chops were a little on the salty side but still delicious but I think we were full from the bread and cheese. The dessert was okay I had creme brulee and the wife got the tiramisu. I would definitely come back. I see a lot of things on the dinner menu that I would've enjoyed for lunch, maybe next time."
