"I 've lived in the area for a few years now and didn 't try this place until the other night. Turns out I wasn 't missing out on anything. I highly recommend you SKIP this restaurant and go somewhere else for your meal. The place itself is a good size, with patio dining and a cute cozy ambiance. It 's a good local date spot if you want bland mediocre food and service. It seems that they had one waiter running around serving ALL the tables and bar tending. The waiter himself wasn 't too personable and was in a constant rush. He wouldn 't check in with us and each time we needed him we had to flag him down. Another man, I assume is the owner or manager, was walking around but not doing much. I asked him twice for something after it took the waiter a long time but asking the owner didn 't expedite or improve service. It was actually my husband 's birthday and we didn 't feel special or enjoy the dinner. Now the food. At first glance, the menu does look good with a lot of yummy options. Now ordering it is a different situation. Two of the appetizers my husband tried to order they didn 't have today which is weird. Why is it on the menu if you 're not offering it regularly? We ordered a few other things instead. The classic Argentinian steak was very salty. Not worth the price they sell it at! Expensive and chewy not what I 'd expect for that steak. The potatoes were oily, the side of spinach was painfully bland and the empanadas were very oily. We both felt extremely bad at night and the next day. Safe to say our bodies didn 't enjoy the food either! Truly don 't know how they have 4 stars or have remained open. In the area there aren 't many options, which is why I assume people still come to dine here. Regardless, I 'd make the effort to drive a little and go somewhere you 're actually going to enjoy your meal!!"

Today we had a company lunch here for 27 people, Javier and his team were amazing through the whole process. The food was so yummy, the wait staff was timely and courteous, and they went above and beyond to make the dining extravaganza amazing. I would absolutely recommend the Bodega Malbec for an immaculate dining experience and the wonderful people there. Visualizza piatti

Well, we decided to give this local Argentinian restaurant a shot. I've had other Argentinian cuisines before and this one is right around the corner so we thought we'd try it to support local small business. The menu has a wide variety of Argentinian favorites, and by just looking at the menu, I was excited. I was very very disappointed by the food and the amount of oil there was in the sides and appetizers We started with the calamari appetizer as well as the empanadas. Beef and spinach. The beef empanadas were very good flavor wise but oil was dripping everywhere. The spinach cheese was very watery. We also ordered the entraña steak, which is a must at any Argentinian restaurant, and it c...

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."

"I recently wound up coming here two days in a row. I was up in the area for a friend's show around the corner and we stopped in after to get some food. This is a fast casual place with a similar approach as Chipotle in terms of how you can order your food, but everything is homemade and the ingredients are higher quality. You can get a plate, sandwich (2 diff sizes), or salad. They also have things like meat pies and moussaka and daily specials in terms of the meats they serve. It was a bit later (maybe 9:30pm) by the time we got there. I ordered a salad with gyro meat. The salads were huge and they were very generous with the portions of meat they put in their meals. Because it was late, the meat was a bit dry and salty but the flavors were good. I loved the spices they put on the pita bread they throw it on the grill right before they give it to you which gives it a nice crispness on the edges. All the veggies in the salad were crisp and fresh and I loved the sauces they had on the side (tzatziki and the house aioli mount olympus were my choices). The reason I came back the next day was the DESSERT CASE. They had some serious and very unique desserts and I wanted to come back and try them out. This time I wound up getting a lamb shawarma salad, which was super moist and flavorful much better than the gyro meat. For dessert, my friend and I shared a cannoli cream puff, Greek candy bar, and a piece of the salted caramel baklava cheesecake. They were so good! I'm not normally a fusion enthusiast, but the salted caramel baklava cheesecake changed my heart this was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. My friend's favorite dessert of the three was the Greek candy bar it had a few different layers with different textures and flavors and it was also a standout. They also had baklava ice cream that I haven't tried yet. Everyone who worked here was super friendly! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in North Hollywood for that cheesecake!"
