This is a decent spot for a quick lunch. The pot dishes have a pretty authentic flavor, and the prices are reasonable. However, I found the complimentary tea to be overly sweet, which I wouldn't recommend.

Large serving. Should be more than enough if you order one hot pot. The taste was good, maybe not as delicate as I expected, but still will come back if I get a chance. The tea comes with the hot pot, which is really great!!

The service was prompt, and the portion sizes were generous. I ordered the lunch special #4 and opted for green tea as my beverage. Just a heads-up: even the mild spice level is quite spicy, especially for someone like me who doesn't usually handle spice well. On a weekday afternoon, I found it easy to find parking and get a table.

Hot pot dinners are preset with everything. You can tell them if you don’t want something. The curry one I got mild but it was too spicy for me and I had to drink so much water. Husband likes spicy and his was spicy. The kids liked the little dessert packets they give with the check. Overall good. But don’t get anything mild if you can’t handle much heat.

My bf loves boiling point so we come here occasionally. Sometimes it can get busy during peak hour but you can put your name on the waitlist and walk around the plaza while you wait. Although I wish they had the waitlist on the app so you can sign up before you get there. Would save a lot of time!I get the beef mild and my bf gets the beef spicy. Good always comes out fresh and pretty quick. Servers are pretty attentive and you can ask them to turn off your fire so you can have your food cool down a bit. I heard a lot about this Taiwanese chain Boiling Point and was super excited to try it. They have lots of single hot pot options, ranging from seafood pots and spicy pots, to something more conventional with a protein of your choice (chicken, beef, pork, etc). Rather than use the electric stoves, all the single pots here use kerosene. It has that old school hot pot feel. The portions are okay. Broth flavoring is above par, and you have many different sauce options. The service here is minimal, mainly because it can get so busy in a small, crammed, steamy restaurant space. Boiling point has been one of my favorite hotpot places since our first tasted in Southern California in 2014. When we are craving for small hot pot, this is definitely our top place to go. For lunch you will get one drink for free(black or green tea), including weekend, which is very amazing. Their appetizer was not as impressive as the hotpot when we visited in November, 2021. We got House Special and Seafood Tofu this time. House special has been a very classic and authentic Taiwanese small hotpot flavors. Boiling Pot is one of my favorite restaurants for hotpot! The quality is really good, in comparison to other a la carte hotpot spots. The meat is tender and juicy (not dry at all . I always get the beef hotpot because there's meat, veggies, tofu, and also fishballs! I think the combination of ingredients for this pot is perfect for me, so I crave it all the time hahaha.The sauces are also yummy, and I appreciate that they are provided for every table.Portion wise, this is not a place where they will give you very generous portions, but that's why it's perfect for me.
