"My husband and I tried this place because of some good reviews.This place is proof positive that reviews don’t mean everything. First of all, it was in a rather seedy section of town. Was difficult to find parking and had to park on side of street.Then when I got out of the car I looked down and there was an open pocketknife lying on the sidewalk.This should have been an indication that things weren’t going to go well. We got inside and the atmosphere of the whole place is rather gloomy and seedy. We tried to overlook that, because of the reviews on the food. We got chips and salsa first, which were average at best. I’ve had way better at other places. Then we ordered our food. My husband got a chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. I ordered an enchilada with rice and beans. Even though there were only about four customers there it took over 20 minutes to get our food. My husband said the chicken in his chimichanga had no flavor. My enchilada had a slightly odd taste to it but I chalked it up to maybe my tastebuds being off that night. The beans were watery and the rice was sticky and had no flavor. Was the worst Mexican food I had eaten in awhile. To top things off… later that night I started to get sick and now have full blown food poisoning. I have never had food poisoning before…until now. We will not return to this place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. I do not understand how they get good reviews, because the food is not good. There are better places to go. Would have given them O stars if I could have."

"I pulled through the drive thru I asked before placing order did they still Honor the birthday scoop the cashier said yes. When I got to the window two young ladies looked at me stated I had to have to coupon or I would have to pay. My feelings must've shown on my face because she then proceeded to tell me to download the app and they will send the coupon tomorrow. I dont believe that because I know how autogenerated emails work. I feel like this is bad customer service. I wish the wouldve honored what she said look at my ID informed me on the app for myself family friends. I have no family here I was looking forward to getting my birthday ice cream. I will not be back"

"This was the single, craziest experience I have ever had with a restaurant. I placed a GrubHub order, and the driver called to say the owner was rude, combative and wouldn?t take any orders. It sounded fishy, so I called the restaurant. A worker said theowner didn?t speak English, but she would be happy to honor the order if I could drive over and provide a receipt for the order.No problem. I headed over. I arrived, and the Grub Hub driver was still there (more than an hour later) still trying to get memy food. Turns out, he was absolutely telling the truth. I showed the receipt. The workers wouldn?t look at it. They fake calledthe police and said they wouldn?t be giving me food or my money back. The owner gave me a double bird. Other patrons in thelobby were receiving the wrong order. He was just as rude to them. I?m a big wings fan. Go to Wings Town, the Wing Truck or justmake your own. We ended up just going to the Heavenly Flavored Wings drive thru. Just avoid Touchdown Wings."

"I had my first experience at Home Slice today for lunch and it was nothing short of fantastic. We had the vegan breadsticks, the vegan specialty pizza for today (which was Korean BBQ jackfruit) and vegan fried oreos, and everything was absolutely delicious. Both Josiah (the manager) and our server (I didn't catch his name, but he was new to the area from DC) were so friendly and helpful and it was great to talk to them both. I really appreciate that Home Slice has so many vegan options and was very excited to hear that even more are to be added. We will be back again VERY soon!"

"The Burrito Grande was Delicious, i was thankful enough that they took off the beans, onions but i should have asked to take off the sour cream too The Pollo Loco is good as always but feels too small whenever i dont get two meats."
