We placed a large take out order for my mom’s 80th birthday celebration. Dino never disappoints. Service is always terrific as is the food. We had a lovely meal here last week. Large family consisting of meat eaters, sea food eaters, kids, babies, and even three vegetarians and everyone enjoyed their food. The bread came out warm! The service was good, especially considering it was acollege-aged girl. My sister felt the helping of the tuna special was a bit small, that would have been our only suggestion.

Have been coming to Stone Harbor for years. Just found this restaurant this summer. Great food, friendly staff, nice casual vibe. Would go again for sure, and would like to try breakfast. Perhaps a few more paintings. Biggest complaint: sat at a table where we saw in the kitchen/prep area entire meal. A decorative screen or room divider would easily solve that. We came for a relaxing brunch before hitting the road back home. Unfortunately, the wait time for the food was close to an hour, which meant we’d be stuck in traffic coming home. Water was served in plastic bottles, and coffee in paper cups—so classy. Waffles came with corn syrup, not maple syrup. The roasted potatoes were very good. I gave two stars for the service primarily based on the wait, though the waitstaff could have been more proactive—offering a free bottle of water or something

The owner got us in last minute for a reservation on a Saturday night in July. The food was incredible. My husband had the sea bass which was a special. It was the best Seabass we have ever had. I had the beef tips, which were so tender and great with the mashed potatoes. My daughter loved them so much that she took my meal. The owner then surprised her with his homemade ice cream cake dessert which was incredible. He came out and talked to us and asked how dinner was, very personable. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This hidden gem in Avalon is a great find! We enjoyed our meal on the outdoor deck while watching the sunset over the bay. The food was fresh and authentic, with Dino, the chef, clearly passionate about his mother's recipes. Don't miss out on the meatball appetizer, which we shared among the four of us, and be sure to save room for mama's pound cake with ice cream for dessert. Our entrees, including pork chop, veggie penne, chicken parm, and the fra diavlo seafood special over thin spaghetti, were all generously portioned and delicious. We will definitely be returning!
