Fantastic local spot! The food was tasty and innovative. The service was excellent and very attentive.

Kitchen was way behind so our food took forever to come out. Servers were extremely nice and apologetic.

I have been here three times and everytime I say to my self I am not coming back! I guess I want them to be good but then I get disappointed! Noise is difficult to take when the train is coming to the station! Food is slow coming and then it's not that good . Visualizza piatti

Each table received the same small bowls of cranberry sauce and gravy regardless of the number of diners, so when we requested more for our party of five, we were charged $2, and they didn’t even pack extra for us to take home. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Food for Thanksgiving was good but better the next day as leftovers. Service Very poor. Management has not done it 's job training and monitoring staff. Plates arrived, the waiter asked if everything was OK before we had a chance to taste anything then disappeared until we asked for the check. The young staff needs more direction

We had three items off the new fall menu: an amazing butternut squash soup, the flank steak Brussels sprout salad and the duck confit with lentils and sautéed greens. Each was impeccable. The entree came a smidge late and they gave us an amazing dessert for our time. I also love that this neighborhood restaurant sits on its own. We sat outside on a Friday night. The staff was super professional and we could see the kitchen staff who I could see taking great care to send out beautiful plates. I had the fried chicken with greens. The dish was delicious and the greens were perfect. Ordering greens can be a very scary adventure because sometimes restaurants do not wash them well and you can taste the sand/ dirt. Not in this dish they were fabulous. My husband had the club sandwich and he really really enjoyed it. I ask the people of Menlo Park to get out and enjoy this restaurant.... I live down the street and the restaurant never seems full. This is Menlo 's chance to have a neighborhood gen .....get out and eat there...

Came here for my wife 's birthday. She ordered the fried chicken and it came out raw. Our waiter rarely came by on a night when the place was nearly empty. My wife flagged down a different waiter and when she showed him the chicken—****, soggy, flappy skin—he said you 'd like it cooked differently? I 've had better service at Denny 's at 3 in the morning. On top of that, my OpenTable reservation gave instructions that it was my wife 's birthday and to please arrange something. They never did. I can understand if this place was new (it 's not). I could understand if the place was packed (it was not). I 've had great experiences with places I 've reserved on OpenTable in the past but this time...

The Brussels sprouts were soaked in oil, and the carrots were drowning in butter. After refrigerating them, we noticed the butter had solidified around the carrots, and the Brussels sprouts were literally swimming in oil. We ended up throwing that out as well. I had looked forward to this meal, and I can’t believe a well-known restaurant could disappoint us on Thanksgiving. I also felt embarrassed, having praised this place to our guests to ease their disappointment about not having a home-cooked meal.
