"I rarely ever leave reviews for anything, however Hooks is by far the best restaurant for the incredible food at unbelievable low prices. I have always loved Gyros, I have been going to Grecian Delight for over 20 years because I love their Gyros. Until I ordered one from Hooks about 6 months ago. Hooks Gyro is HUGE, and so incredibly delicious! Nothing can compare to the inc taste and the gigantic size. They are bigger than burrito that you get from Hot Heads, they are loaded with a ton of delicious meat then topped with fresh lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and cucumber sauce. I order one at least once a week and could never get tired of them because they really do taste that amazing. For around $12 you are getting a gyro so large it is almost impossible to eat all of it at once and fries are included. You can barley get a nasty combo meal at the chain restaurants for that price. I also LOVE their breaded mushrooms! Hooks is amazing. Im not sure how it is possible but it tastes better every time I eat there. I recommend Hooks to absolutely loves delicious quality food, and thank God they keep it so affordable too."

"After sitting for 20 minutes without any interaction, the waitress came over and nonchalantly mentioned, "You should place your order now because the kitchen is backed up." This was the first time we had seen her since receiving our drinks, and we definitely weren’t holding up the process! The shepherd's pie tasted like it had been microwaved. It was dry, crusty, and lacked any sauce—almost like eating sand. The pork medallions were the size of half dollars and barely as thick, and we only received two! The special BBQ sauce tasted just like store-bought Hunts BBQ. We couldn’t finish our meals and ended up taking them home to cook them properly and add some flavor. It’s unfortunate, as our experience in February was wonderful, but we won’t be returning. Waiting an hour for food is not my idea of a good time, especially with only 15 to 20 customers in the restaurant. "We steadily spend $300+ each month and have enjoyed, UNTIL our first delivery (normally I pick up, but she I mention delivery to me the last trip so I forgot to give it a shot). Ultimately I am sad to report today they've lost our business completely over a $10 entree and $6 appetizer! I placed an order that was typical and asked delivery when the order arrived we were short the crab rangoon and had some odd entree added on to our bill. We have people over and it was hectic so by the time I got an opportunity to pick up the phone and call it was too late they were already closed. So I wrote myself a note to remind me to call them the next day. Of course then I put the notes somewhere and forgot all about it until my husband reminded me today 3 days later. I gave them a call and explain what had happened and they literally told me that they could not credit me $5.95 for the crab rangoon because they couldn't go back and look it up to see if I actually ordered it? I explained that I paid for it so that would mean I ordered it. What I didn't order was the additional lunch entree that they added on to my bill? At the end of the day they opted not to give me a credit and lose my business the food's been always acceptable to good."
