"It’s unfair to compare Flavour as it is now compared to what it was under the original ownership, and those who have done so in the reviews are out of line and clearly think too highly of their own opinions, most of which are poorly formed pastiches of original thought. We ordered all four courses plus dessert, and the dishes were brought out in a timeline appropriate for a structured, multi-course meal. Those complaining about wait times clearly have either no experience in elevated dining, or have a secret dislike of their own company or the company of their friends or partners. The courses themselves were plated beautifully and tasted wonderful, and we had the opportunity to overhear the chefs create some dishes on the fly for a vegetarian family (to great result, from what I heard). Is Flavour what it used to be? No, and that’s exactly the point. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, the food and the service, and I’m excited to see Chef Gomez’s vision continue to grow and evolve over the coming months."

"I have LOVED Pickle Time for many years. I live 76 miles away and have gone pretty far out of my way for a burger and fried pickles. I stopped and got an onion burger on August 16, 2023, which was as phenomenal as ever. Their burgers, chicken, fish, fries, and sauces are top-notch. However, I was really, really disappointed that they've decided to use pickle chips rather than pickle spears for their fried pickles. The batter is still delicious, but the pickle chip to batter ratio just takes away from the entire flavor and experience. The fried pickles were the number one reason that I was so enamored by this wonderful mom-and-pop-shop in the first place. It was also pretty sad to see the hand-drawn artistic interpretations of pickles on the walls had been taken down. I don't know if this was a decision made because they intend to remodel or something of the sort, but it was such a unique, fun, community-fostering aspect of the restaurant that I always looked forward to admiring while I enjoyed my meal. The next time I'm in the area, I hope to see that they've decided to bring the pickle spears and pictures back. Those are the only two reasons I've given them 4 instead of 5 stars."

"I really want to like this place. Their baked goods are delicious, but their service has been terrible every time I go. This morning I ordered two pastries and a drink. They handed me one, but four or five customers later I was still waiting for my other pastry. When I finally asked, the guy washing dishes grabbed it for me with the same gloves he was washing dishes with! The other two employees stood looking on perplexed, instead of apologizing. Each time I’ve been in I’ve had experiences like this. Maybe I don’t fit the dress code the right treatment? I would go somewhere more friendly where everyone is served equally."

"The food here is incredibly good. I've been ordering takeout here for years, and the thing that always surprises me is that the food is so well seasoned. You can go to a lot of places near here for Thai food, but even their most basic Pad Thai tastes like it was made with care and not just made bland for an american palette. If you order food spicy here, you actually feel some heat. I love having this place so close to home."
