An excellent meal for two in this charming restaurant. On a cold evening this was a warm and welcoming place with good food and good service. The magnet de canard was very nice.

It was recomended by a nice couple we meet at cafe club and it is excellent. Mary attend our table perfectly , recomended the oysters gratine and the duck, delicious The beef is also a wonderful dish . Highly recomended and good prices.

I had a 2 kg piece of pork that was extremely good, unbelievably tender with a sweet dipping sauce served with some nice green beans. My wife enjoyed her salad. It wasn't one of the more frugal meals I've had but it was enjoyable, 50 euros without wine.

Cafe Leon is in a great area with many restaurants and bars populated with locals enjoying themselves. Like many of the restaurants in the area, it has outside and inside seating, with most patrons eating outside. Food was tasty and generous portions, we had baked cheese and charcuterie (very good) for appetizers, followed by fish and a steak for our main meals. Fairly simple food, but well prepared. By accident we visited this little Pearl for lunch. The menu card contains traditional French dishes as in the old days. Menu 2 dishes 14,90 € 3 dishes 19,90 €. In the evenings menus up to 30 €. The food is very good, you immediately notice that there is a skilled chef in the kitchen. We have eaten at many restaurants in Montpellier, only few can be. recommend. Our waitress name was Casandra.she delivered a sweet and friendly service.

I was staying down the street and wandered up to try Cafe Leon. The ambiance was wonderful, with a lively crowd outside on a warm evening, and the food did not disappoint! The two servers who took care of me were absolutely wonderful, and happy to provide recommendations for a menu with too many great choices. I had the beef tartare--one of the best I've ever eaten--and the lemon meringue tart, also excellent. The local wine selection is good, and the prices seemed about average for the area. The meal was well worth the price, and I'll be returning again before I leave. Highly recommended!

I must say I was in two minds when I saw a crowded terrace. Could it be a tourist trap whatever I had read on Tripadvisor? But no, we found a table with the help of a charming and smiling maid, the menu (rather short, but well-chosen) was brought to us momentarily and everything went smoothly. Service was prompt and professional notwithstanding the crowd of patrons. Shall I go into details? I had "Filet de boeuf Rossini", bleu, a thick fillet cooked to perfection with an escalope de foie gras poêlé on top (not the usual but lower-value demi-cuit), while my partner had a hand-cut steak tartare (even though she would have preferred fries to pommes rissolées).
