"We visited the restaurant for the first time on Valentine's Day night. We were seated at a small table next to the rest rooms, so that didn't do anything for the ambiance. For appetizers, we had the grilled oysters and the stuffed artichoke hears. Both were very good, though the oysters we quite small. Our main courses were the Chicken Beatrice, which was wonderful, and the grilled Salmon, which was overcooked a therefore dry. Had it not been for that, I would have rated the food very good. Being Valentine's Day, the restaurant was very crowded and services was quite slow. That's somewhat understandable. Our server was friendly and professional. The hosted gave each couple a rose for Valentine's Day but neglected us, I assume because we're a same sex couple. That was disappointing."

We came up to meet my daughter and her roommate and we will definitely be back. . Our sever was extremely nice and professional. The service was excellent , we were well taken care off and the food was delicious. We had some food allergy concerns and our server and staff were well informed and trained on food allergies to ensure there were no issues or concerns.

Caffe Espresso Trattoria is a fine Italian neighborhood restaurant offering a good variety of specials for dinner. With an emphasis on meat and seafood more characteristic of northern Italy but also including various pasta dishes and vegetarian dishes as well, the menu is quite varied and well worth exploring.
