"We wanted to order a bottle of Riesling from the Mosel Valley, which was also available by the glass. When we requested to taste the wine before making our purchase, we were told that this wasn't allowed due to their policy. I questioned this and suggested that we could try the bottle, and if we didn’t like it, they could sell it by the glass. The server responded, “That’s not how we do things here, sir.” Unfortunately, the wine turned out to be sweeter than I expected, and I would have preferred to choose a different bottle that was $10 more. Management should take note of this ineffective sales approach. Overall, the food was good, but it felt overpriced for the quality. The panini was simply a roasted sandwich, not grilled as I had anticipated. The meats and sides were decent, but the descriptions were lacking, both in writing and verbally. It was also frustrating when they asked if we wanted more wine while we still had full glasses, and offered the dessert menu before we were even halfway through our meal. While we appreciated the charm of downtown Greer and recognize this may be one of the nicer restaurants, the overall experience didn't make us feel inclined to return or recommend it to others."

"We visited some friends and they brought us yo this gem of a restaurant. We started off with some drinks from the bar. The waiter was also doing some bartending and made a special request of a peach martini and my friend a pineapple martini. We enjoyed the conversation and ambiance while we went over the menu and listened to the specials. We started off with the special of the evening tots appetizer and warm cheese. They were both very tasty. We placed our main course order as we continued to enjoy the appetizers. I ordered my Filet Medium Rare plus...as per their cooking my typical Medium Rare was to little and Medium was too much...but the Medium Rare Plus was absolutely perfect! We tried a few dipping sauces. It was fun to try the different flavors. My friend got the salmon and her Hubby got the special of Filet with Crab meat and Shrimp. We were so stuffed we did not get dessert. This was an exceptional meal. If in the area a must eat at location."

"Very basic, bordering on bland Italian food. Nothing special. Be prepared for gas station pricing if you don't pay cash since they add a bizarre non-cash fee if you pay by credit card. This kind of gas station pricing seems out of place at a restaurant where a couple can easily have a $200+ tab. I was also surprised that we had to pay $6 for a very basic loaf of bread. I don't understand the nickel and diming when our entrees were nearly $40 each and were honestly nothing special. It's hard to recommend this place where there are far better restaurants in the area. "I want to give this place 4.5 stars but lately a lot of inconsistencies and memorable mistakes. We keep giving trying though and usually what we recieve keeps us coming back to give this place more chances. We used to order here often. Weekly. But had to take a break when our food was incorrectly made multiple times. Delicious, HUGE calzones (when baked correctly and not doughy) and pasta (although they usually mess up the protein). Pizza is pretty good as well and I'm a fan of their ranch but I was beyond disappointed in the dessert, specifically the pistachio cake. Ordered dessert for the first time recently and was given the tiniest slice (about an inch thick at the widest point). For 6 dollars it is beyond a ripoff. Maybe someone got hungry and ate the other half? Probably will never order dessert here again. Usually plenty of parking. They are busy around dinner time and I know lately they have been short staffed so keep that in mind."
