"After we finished harvesting our farm ground we went to LJ’s to celebrate. We ordered two margaritas for starters. First drink we tried and we looked at each other and said ugh. They were terrible tasting. I ordered a sandwich basket with fries and my husband ordered wings. I took my first bite out of my sandwich and noticed that the bacon that was on it seemed raw. I spit out my bite and opened up my sandwich. Sure enough, the bacon was 100% raw! Our waitress came by and noticed that I was looking at my sandwich. I told her that the bacon was 100% raw and I showed her. She said that’s disgusting and said, yup, you’re right! She took the bacon that I had out of my sandwich and showed the cook manager. They took the price of the sandwich off our bill and offered me a replacement. Of course I didn’t except it. I won’t eat there again. My husband’s chicken wings were very soft and gooey. We brought those home to cook them more. It cost around 30.00 dollars for a totally gross dinner plus a 5.00 tip. We’ll probably throw away the chicken wings. LJ’s used to be our favorite restaurant but we won’t be back. If you do, please take a look at the people that are cooking your food. That was unappetizing also. "Came in for a late lunch with a group while passing through town. Server friendly! Atmosphere pretty good. Nothing over the top. Chips good, salsa is set up for midwestern white people- no heat/fire- maybe there was another option? Had the steak fajita burrito. Good food-Tasty but nothing to write home about. Huge portions- some in the group was unable to finish their meal. Departed the restaurant full. Margarita seemed lack luster- like very little tequila was involved."

"The atmosphere, staff, and beer were all fantastic. I've always loved Tip the Cow, but Two Cows exceeded my expectations. The gose was pleasantly sour and incredibly refreshing. If we lived in Waterloo, we would definitely be regulars here. We ordered chips and salsa, and the chips were freshly fried and delicious. The salsa wasn't quite as spicy as we prefer, but it was flavorful nonetheless. Our kids had some trouble with the flipper machine, but the staff promptly came out to assist them. Overall, we had a wonderful experience during our brief visit."

"Loved our experience at El Patron! It’s rare that you find a restaurant with the tri fecta great food, authentic atmosphere, and incredible service. The gluten free options were AMAZING (especially the cheese dip.
