"As someone who had been to Carrol's Creek many times in the past, I was looking forward to seeing it after a remodel. From my memory, it was exactly the same. It was not a great first date spot. The lights were SO BRIGHT. There was also no background music. Just not particularly great ambiance all the way around. The food is good, but it's not cheap. For the price, there are better spots for a date."

It's a lovely place. David was very entertaining and did an exceptional job taking care of us. The food lacked flavor, wasn't cooked to the proper temperature, and wasn't prepared as requested. Overall, a very nice place.

Loved our dinner tonight. Angel, our waiter, was excellent!!! Dinner for 4 tonight after Navy/Air Force game. Hubby and I had the special...Walleye... since we've lived in Michigan and know how great that fish is! Service is always very consistently good.

CCC is our go to in East Port. Food is always consistent. Seafood is awesome . Good variety of adult beverages. Good team of people they know the menu and are good about checking in, but not hovering. When the weather is nice, the view on the deck over Spa Creek can't be beat.

"Clancy, the bartender, was exceptional. Despite being from Queens, he went above and beyond to enhance my experience at the Oyster bar. With his guidance, I selected a delicious array of oysters, paired with a phenomenal bourbon. Clancy ensured I was well taken care of throughout my visit. The variety of oysters I sampled were top-notch, and I highly recommend this establishment for its great atmosphere, stellar service, and outstanding cuisine. The truffles served as a remarkable end to the evening."

"Danelle and the staff at Luna Blu made my friend's birthday really special. I highly recommend making reservations in advance, as that was the first thing the hostess asked when we arrived. We both enjoyed the food, and the restaurant had a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. My meal (Farfalle Di Cremona) was particularly filling, with generous portions of seafood and scallops. The service was prompt, and we were seated quickly. I would definitely return, even for a casual night out with friends. Again, I highly recommend booking a reservation ahead of time."

"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"The vibe and the people are great; if the food were on par, this place would be 5-stars. I knew it was diner food going into it, so I wasn’t expecting to have my socks knocked off or anything. When I asked for a recommendation, I was told the Crab Benedict was a solid choice. What I got was a bland and chewy lump of crab meat covered in an equally flavorless and unappealing hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were partially burnt and way over-peppered and had a rather unpleasant aftertaste. Set your expectations low for the food, then go a notch or two lower, and you’ll have a great time at Chick Ruth’s. I wish I could’ve hung out with the staff all day and watch as they engage with the locals and each other."

"Four course setting, which we chose. Very creative and absolutely the best tasting and assorted variety selection. Snacks: Blue Crab Rolls, Salmon Swirls and Lamb Meatballs Apertizer: Crayfish Dumplings, Sirloin Tartee with gumdrop Blue Cheese and homemade French fries Main Course: Tile Fish Filet, Lamb and Scallops on Sautéed Green Desert: The pear desert was delicious, the Miso Pot De Creme coconut Carmel melt in your mouth and Chocolate Crunchy Bar that had a chocolate mousse on top of marshmallows on top of chocolate cake with sprinkles of peppermint that the flavor pleasantly lingers well after the last bite. All the above was shared at our table with complete joy and can't wait for next dining experience with such great food and excellent service."
