The oyster shooters were fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the smoked tuna fish tacos and the smoked halibut collar fish tacos, both of which were quite tasty. However, there wasn't a lot of fish in them, and they felt a bit overpriced. The pumpkin cheesecake was just okay.

The Hungry Clam was closed when I arrived, but I ended up discovering a great place instead! It was the best decision ever! Everything was served hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The owner, who was born and raised in England, mentioned that their fish and chips are fantastic. We've found our new go-to spot for seafood in Brookings!

Stopped here on a Thursday night on a whim. We ordered Deep Fried Calamari (HUGE PORTION for two), Grilled Shrimp with a cup of Clam Chowder and the Rockfish Tacos special. Add the mango salsa too. Nothing was greasy. Everything was fresh and light. The CHOWDER was the best I have ever had. 10/10. The staff was great! Savannah was our waitress. We will return!

If you're in search of the best chowder and creamy delights, this is the place to go. The fish and chips, made with kid or stone fish, are not greasy and come out crispy, hot, and flavorful, especially when paired with the delicious chowder on the side. We had a wonderful late dinner at a trendy seafood restaurant in the harbor. We tried the fish and chips, chowder, and shrimp po’boy, all of which were delightful. The oyster shooters were enjoyable and reasonably priced. The chowder was hearty and packed with flavor. The shrimp po’boy was enormous and absolutely delicious, with a flavorful sauce that complemented it perfectly. The fish and chips were tasty, though slightly greasy for my taste. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, making our experience even better.

Got the clam chowder bread bowl, cheeseburger basket, and fish and chips. Great clam chowder very thick, I have no idea what they put in it but it tasted good. Pretty good bread. I wish the serving size was larger. The fries were so great. They were seasoned and on the skinnier side and just right. Addicting. Cheeseburger was alright it kind of tasted burnt? Also smelled burnt when you walked in. Fish and chips was fresh but because of that it was oily and greasy, but was still really tasty. They had mason jars for water cups really cute. Service was very friendly and kind. Overall a great meal.

Solid Fish and Chips! B/C the Hungry clam is always closed it’s harder to get fish and chips quickly. First time eating here. They were so busy (2pm, weekday) they would not answer the phone and do not take phone orders. The wait staff is working overtime and it took me at least 15 minutes to get my order taken. It was worth it however. The fish, that is the rock cod was cooked perfectly. It met the three F’s -fresh, flavorful and flaky. The tartar sauce was pedestrian and the french fries were about average. The portion size was good. The fish carried the meal so I’d say an A-. $16, the going rate. Yes I would eat there again!
