"The noise level was deafening. Conversation with my friends was impossible. Service was wanting. One man seemed in charge of the dining room and the outdoor cafe. I wasn't quite ready to order when he came to take our order (I'd arrived late because of rain). He remarked that this was his second visit to the table. We waited minutes for our dinners to arrive. We had to tell the server we had theater tickets and needed to get going. My dinner, lemon chicken, was fine (choices on the menu are unimaginative and not very French). I had been looking forward to catching up with my friends' news; I hadn't seen them for a while. We could scarcely hear each other across a small table. I won't be returning."

Substandard. Food seemed stale. Everything from bread to duck breast. Seemed as if prepared by non-professional. Place was nearly empty, and I can understand why. Staff was nice...not their fault.

Waited for a longtime after seating for coffees. Same with food. Pancakes had no butter or syrup on plate or table. Took asks to get that. Asked for cokes and we were hLf way through meal before we got them but that was after of us had to go to the bar and ask for them. When asked if they were short staffed she replied â yes as you can seeâ maybe telling us that st the beginning would have allowed us the choice oh going next door if they were really under that much pressure
