"This is a real hidden gem in McKinley Park. I first went to this restaurant by chance, just because of its proximity to an event later that evening. Since then, I've been back many, many times. The waiters are consistently very friendly, attentive, and kind. Just absolutely the nicest people. The food is delicious we usually order the guacamole and some iteration of the taco dinner (my personal favorite is their chorizo). I've never had a problem finding close, free parking. Overall, this is a very quaint restaurant. Highly recommend."

Wow! Unbelievably flavorful and delicious! Veggie dishes were so good. Super fresh salsa. Good service. Simple decor. The food are the true MVP of this place. Will definitely come back.

I had my birthday party here and it was amazing! working with jaime was a pleasure and he made my day extremely special! eating was absolutely amazing and he and his team worked so hard to make sure everything was just perfect. I recommend for an excellent meal or a special occasion! Five.

Fantastic!This place is soooo good. The menu is very creative and well-executed. The drinks are great and the best thing is that the prices are amazing! Really nice unique Mexican Restaurant. I didn't expect this sophistication in this neighborhood. It's situated in a kinda deserted corner on 35th.I had the Tlayuda, Sope and Taco. All three were delicious. I'm surprised at the number of vegetarian items they offer. I am going to be back often.I'm surprised that's it's been open for Three years and hasn't cracked the foodie scene. This is a Mexican version of Ghin Khao Thai Restaurant in the hood!!

chile toreado is one of my favorite restaurants in chicago. my partner and I often visit to lunch and dinner. we have tried most articles on the menu and have loved each single ding especially the margaritas. not only eating spectacular, the service can not beat. it is family-run, so that in any case it is a sense of community and service is attentive and beyond respectful. they cannot go wrong with the order, I would recommend trying everything once or even twice!
