Fantastic food! A wonderful spot for dining in or taking your meal to go.

Buffet choices were pretty good. Lots of breaded, fried items. Shrimp was very flavorful. Ice cream machine was down. Attentive waitress. Thank you.

The service was good at this restaurant. While the food could have been improved, buffet options are always hit-or-miss. However, they offer a great variety on the buffet, as well as a menu to choose from.

This is a really welcoming place with some of the best-tasting Chinese food you can find in the United States. I've traveled across the country and dined at many Chinese restaurants, but China House Restaurant in Chadron, Nebraska, offers the most authentic Chinese cuisine I've ever experienced.

The food is tasty while it’s hot. The egg drop soup and honey chicken is the best I’ve ever had. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the service my family received yesterday (12/23/21) from a young Caucasian woman with glasses. She wasn’t friendly to my table and another near me. When asking for my receipt for my to-go order, she said “next time tell me you want a receipt first so I don’t have to dig through all of these for you.” Shouldn’t she have given me my receipt when purchasing anyway?

I actually give it 4.5 because it has been consistently very good for over 20 years. I order off the menu but lots of people like the buffet. I can actually eat vegetables which is my thing. It's not fancy but I think the food is great. Some of my favorites are combination wonton soup, shrimp fried rice, moo shoo vegetables and the chicken on a stick. Also pot stickers, combination vegetables. Plus I keep trying new things too. Reasonably priced with generous portions that you can take home and make more meals from.

The staff at this restaurant is great, but they may ignore you if they are in a conversation with another staff member. The appetizers are tasty and flavorful; however, their meat dishes such as chicken, beef, and pork are often dry, tough, crispy, and sometimes cold. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, and it was tough and dried out. My friend ordered the General Tso's chicken, and had a similar experience. It seems like they may be reusing leftovers. I also ordered the house lo mein, and the beef was cold and the shrimp were not deveined. While the customer service is good, the food quality needs improvement.
