"First impressions. I like brick oven pizza and this was in fact what I'd expect out of Brick Oven pizza. The crust of the regular crust is crispy and slightly blackened as you would expect. The pizza was prepared neatly and had adequately dispersed toppings so you didn't miss anything with each bite.Flavor and consistency. The crust was a little thin for my personal taste which is the only reason why I personally wouldn't give it 5 stars, but that doesn't detract from the quality. It was evenly cooked and delicious. The SAUCE though, best sauce I have had on a pizza in some time. I ended up eating the entire small pizza in an evening.Gluten free. The gluten free crust was different though and I understand it is likely because it was gluten free, but the crust was soggy and wet. I'm sure it would have held together better if there were a binding agent such as cheese at the top of the pizza, but unfortunately no vegan cheese options are offered. However, this again doesn't detract from my personal rating as I do not have such dietary restrictions and I understand the added expense, lack of consumption, and short shelf life of vegan cheeses typically limits these options, but I feel that it should be mentioned.I only live about 6 minutes away and had no stops from the shop to home, so I wouldn't expect time to be a factor in this. It was still hot when we began eating.Ultimately, I would eat here again, but it would be a place that I personally would go out of my way for. If you read this, take it with a grain of salt. It is excellent pizza, just not my preferred style."

"Exceptional experience here! Everything from granita they served pre-meal to the pastas were spot on. We had the meatballs and flatbread appetizer. Could have just stopped there. Meatballs were very soft and juicy on the inside and perfect on the outside.There was a very nice herbed taste that made my wife keep commenting on them, in addition to the basil. The flatbread was just ascrumptious mix of fig, goat cheese and slightly charred pizza crust. On the menu, it said there was prosciutto, but we didn'ttaste or see any, but honestly imo prosciutto would have ruined it so we didn't really care! The pastas were also great. Thetagliatelle, though boring looking (sauce was simply butter, salt and pepper), was mildly addictive. The pasta noodle itself wasreally chewy! I had the agnolotti which had a very nice, tangy buttery sauce. The filling didn't have much taste so thatwould be my main complaint of the evening. Thank you!"

"You can either order at the walk-up window or go inside to place your order. The cafe specializes solely in desserts and drinks, but that's perfectly fine! They have a variety of soft serve flavors, multiple frozen yogurt options, ice cream, and other sweet treats. Yolo Cafe is reasonably priced, clean, easy to find, and has great parking and seating options. The staff is very friendly, and they even welcome dogs. Let me highlight one of the best features: their adorable pup cup sundaes! We brought our dogs along and added the dog-friendly dessert to our order—they absolutely loved it. They also have a rewards program that offers discounts based on points earned. We ordered strawberry lemonade with multiple flavors of boba, raspberry frozen yogurt with various toppings (including boba), and of course, pup cups. I discovered their fun color-changing spoons, which were a nice touch. Overall, everything was fantastic during our visit. I highly recommend making Yolo Cafe your go-to spot on those hot summer days for ice cream and boba, or really any day at all!"

"The restaurant can get a bit crowded, especially if you're sitting in a corner away from the noise, which is ideal for a great dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious, and my personal favorite is the Braised Short Ribs. For lunch, I highly recommend the California Wrap; it’s a healthier choice that doesn’t compromise on flavor. If you enjoy drinks, this place is perfect for you, as they offer an impressive selection of uniquely crafted cocktails, along with beer and wine. I’m not sure if it's still available, but their crème brûlée dessert was out of this world—I really hope they keep it on the menu!"

"I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place; it’s lively and fun! It definitely has a Jamaican theme with a tiki bar vibe. The bar was energetic, and the staff was very engaging with the customers. I was a bit disappointed with the jerk wings—they didn’t quite meet my expectations. I love jerk cooking and have visited Jamaican restaurants in the U.S., and these wings seemed to lack that perfect dry rub and oily finish. However, the sauce they served alongside was fantastic—an awesome sweet-heat combination. I understand that jerk dishes can vary widely in style and flavor, so I won’t hold that against them. On a brighter note, the mac and cheese was absolutely amazing!"
