"Just passing through around lunch time, saw the big buffet sign on the building and figured I'd swing in. Dang glad I did. Everything on the buffet was not just good, but great... The catfish was on point, better than I've had in most restaurants and on a buffet no less. The green beans were amazing, seasoned and cooked perfectly. The hamburger steak, chicken fried steak, everything was insanely good, but, the star of the show, was the TURKEY. I dont like turkey generally, I always go for the ham on Thanksgiving, it's always dry, always. This was no exaggeration the best turkey I've ever had in my life, by far... I don't know how they cooked or seasoned it, but it was the most moist and tender flavorful turkey I've ever had. I even called over the waitress because I fully intended on buying several pounds of it a la carte if possible. She went and talked to who I'd imagine is the owner that happened to be behind the buffet, and came back with a to go trey full of turkey and said, this is all he had left, he'd like you to have it. I'm blown away. If I ever make it back through this part of the world, I know where I'm eating..."

We gave this place a try for breakfast. My husband said it was okay, he had the buffet. I didn't eat any of my food, it tasted like old grease and the biscuits were dry and hard. It took a half hour to get my order. I don't get the hype. Personally, I'll take Cracker Barrel breakfast any day over this, that or I will happily eat at home. 1 star for atmosphere because we had to fight off flies the entire time. Sorry but we won't be back.

My friend and I went there from a recommendation and it was a good one! We had the breakfast buffet and it was yummy! Lots of fresh fruit, all kinds of eggs, biscuits (huge) gravy,lots of other items. Homemade cinnamon rolls! The service was excellent, we even spoke wih the owner. Ambiance isn’t the greatest but it’s been there a long time and seems very clean. We can’t wait to go back for the fish buffet on Friday! We live in FW and it was a short 20 min drive. Easy peasy!
