"Positive aspects of this restaurant include ample parking, a very clean interior, friendly and knowledgeable staff, plenty of seating, a convenient location, fair prices, and fast service. However, there were some drawbacks such as cold and dry chicken, cold rice, and a discrepancy between the positive reviews and the reviewer's personal experience. The reviewer praised the kindness and professionalism of the young man who took their order and expressed a willingness to give the restaurant another try in the future despite the disappointing visit on 3/30/2023 at 12:40 PM."

The food and service are excellent when the father is present, but the service is subpar when the other staff members are in charge. Visualizza piatti

The over all experience was not bad. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was not bad but not great, for the price it was a little lacking.

We have dined in and ordered takeout from this restaurant multiple times and the food is consistently delicious. The rotisserie chicken, shawarma, and beef dishes are particularly tasty. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is casual and perfect for a relaxed dining experience.

We decided to try Cicek's one night and was so impressed with the quality and service that we have been going back once a week. The owner's son, who works the register and makes sure all orders are correct, is excellent! He is friendly and very accommodating. Once you try Cicek's, you will keep coming back as we have. Very quick and pleasant takeout experience. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes and it was delicious. I ordered a lula kebab plate with rice and hummus and the portion was enough for 2 meals. The meat was a bit on a salty side but very flavorful, will definitely order again. Friendly and prompt service, reasonable prices, and plenty of parking! Highly recommend!

"First, I want to say this review is LONG overdue. Second, I want to say that a few years ago, I realized that eating beef or pork typically causes me severe intestinal distress, so I very rarely eat either. And lastly, it?s imperative to say that I am perhaps the pickiest eater on the planet. My adult sons tell me my food palate is that of a toddler ? I won?t eat, or even try most foods, including eggs, seafood, fish, or foods that look weird or have mushy textures (like mushrooms or tofu), in addition to a litany of other foods, so if I write a positive food review, rest assured, the restaurant, and food, was phenomenal. Months ago, I was invited to Los Angeles, with my friend of more than thirty years, Martha. On our first evening, we went to eat at Buenos Aires Grill with her aunt, uncle, mom, and cousins ? in total, we were a party of seven. All of the food ordered was shared, family style. Since I had heard so much about the restaurant, I knew I wanted to try everything ? and clearly, I (almost) did. Since Martha had eaten there before, and she knows my likes and dislikes, I requested she place the order on my behalf. We started with the empanadas. OH, MY GAWD? THESE empanadas are the ABSOLUTE BEST I have EVER eaten ? EVER? E.V.E.R. and I have lived in Cuba, México, and Spain? The empanadas are sheer PERFECTION? they APPEAR to be fake ? they are absolutely flawlessly shaped and baked? their crust is neither too thin nor too thick. The filling was drool inducing and I, honestly, genuinely, doubted the taste could be improved, but once I topped the empanada with the chimichurri, if I would have died, in that moment, I would have rested in peace as the happiest human on Earth. She also ordered both the Quesos Fundido and Provoleta and the Chimichurri and (French) Bread (baguette) ? I LOVE CHEESE, and French bread, but, once again, I am PICKY ? and skeptical of new foods. Both the cheeses caused my salivary glands to go into elated overdrive. The union of cheese, chimichurri, and the baguette? TO DIE FOR. I don?t know if Martha ordered the Manolo or Buenos Aires Parrilla, but I ate a bite, or two, of each and every single one of the elements. Despite having lived in Texas since 1990, and as an individual who has eaten countless steaks, ribs, sausages, and chorizo, I have never eaten more deliciously seasoned, epically prepared, and perfectly grilled bites of beef and pork. In addition to the meat, the parrillas were accompanied by mashed potatoes, French fries, Spanish rice, and sautéed vegetables. HOLY MOLY ? each side was mouthwatering, scrumptious, delightful. Fearing I would not want to eat the meat, based on the aforementioned explanation, Martha also ordered the Spinach Cheese Ravioli and the Chicken Alfredo? I have eaten A LOT of pasta dishes in my day? I was raised to believe I was 50% Italian (thanks to 23andMe, I now know that is false). In any case, I?m confident t"

"It hurts to say, but this was the most REGRETTABLE food experiences I 've had. My family is against letting food go to waste if no one wants it, at least let our dog or cats have it but we ended up throwing out all the sides to the trash. Sometimes food is okay, could 've been better or just not your cup of tea, but this was downright horrendous and a waste of nearly $85. Just go to Popeye 's instead. I 'm not sure who I 'm more disappointed with: those who prepared the food or everyone that 's been giving this place four and five star reviews. We got fried chicken, shrimp jambalaya, chicken creole, chicken sandwiches, and sides (potato salad, toast, yams, greens, and clam chowder). I enjoy trying new cuisines here in the Valley, but I will not ever come back here even if the food was on the house and here 's why. First of all, we waited inside nearly 40 minutes for our food. While you look around at the Mardi Gras beads on the chairs and decorations on the shelves, t 's hard to not notice the stained floors. The linoleum has probably been like that for a long time, despite how many times they mop, but it certainly makes you wonder what condition the kitchen is in. So what right I thought. A lot of buildings in the valley haven 't been renovated for decades. Plus, its expensive and restaurants have overhead and staff to pay. At the end of the day we came for the food right? Now, the food itself was horrible. If I could describe it with a meme, it 'd be the middle aged white guy saying You 're not that guy pal. Trust me, you 're not that guy. My mom described the fried chicken as lacking seasoning, smelling funky, and tasting like it was fried in oil that had not been changed in a long time. My sister, who had a fried chicken sandwich, also said it tasted like old oil instead of the spicy Creole seasoning it is described as. My brother and I had the Chicken creole and shrimp jambalaya, respectively. It was reminiscent of middle school forcing myself to eat the cafeteria food cause I forgot my lunch at home. Worst of all were the sides (seen in the pictures above). The potato salad? Tasted like mayonnaise flavored whipped cream. The clam chowder? Gerber with specks of clam. The yams? Mush in a light watery cinnamon and sugar syrup. The greens? Salty, bitter, with the stems still on. Even the toast was bad: it tasted like the crumbs at the bottom of the toaster that haven 't been tossed out in a week. We were gonna get mac n cheese instead of yams, but our server said it was not great today, so if this was the best they had to offer....yikes. For a soul food restaurant, the food here has no soul. At best, its mediocre. At worst, just don 't come here in the first place. The food did not taste fresh and lacked flavor. For as long as we waited, you would expect the line to be out the door but it wasn 't. Seriously, waste of time and money."
