Appear to be under new management. Ordered a beer and wine, Sophie served us promptly. Too much dirty laundry at bar. The new manager was videoing maybe a training video? Sophie left, our food order was lost, took 20 minutes to get our garlic bread order of 2 slices, not charged for, thank God. Second time at this restaurant. Service is amazing and personable with a small town feel. Ron and Sonia took care of me and were excellent! Food is great, especially the baby back ribs. Definitely deserves this five-star review. Thank you clever monkey everyone around here always has positive things to say about your business and it is reasonably priced for the high quality.

I have ordered from this place about four times this month. I order the same thing every time which is a Cuban Press with curly fries. This time it was delivered cold as ice. Curly Fries were ice cold and raw. The Cuban Pess Sandwich had no pulled pork and only ham. Ice cold. No more ordering and especially delivery from this place. Over-priced and nasty food. Beware.... So we checked in with young man and gave my number and went to sit at bar for our wait. Never got a call. Ended up sitting at bar while many tables in main dining sat empty. Felt bad for those wait staff. However our bartender was very gracious and took care of us. Food was average bar food. Had the rubuen but did not order extra meat which it needed. We arrived at 6:30 pm and although the restaurant had empty tables both inside and outside, we were told we 'd have to wait because they were slammed. There were 3 waiters scurrying about and one host . We sat at a dirty table outside hoping that something would open up but all we got was a 30 minute wait with the young host telling us again that things were backed up. The advertised live music was one man singing various tunes to a music mixer. After 45 minutes we gave up and left so we can 't comment on the food but the overall experience was disturbingly bad.

Not crowded at all as we arrived around 5:15. No hostess. Waited 3-4 minutes before someone told us to pick any table. Waited 15 minutes before a server came. One male server stood talking to a couple outside the entire time. Finally got to order drinks. They mixed up the drink order. Ordered food. Came out in pretty quick fashion. Food was just ok. Kids did not like the Mac n cheese. Stopped the server who had been chatting outside and asked for an order of mini burgers. He said he would put it right in. He never did. Average food. Terrible service. Nice bar area. Never going back !!!

Returned to this part of Sarasota to visit as recommended to try this restaurant. Sadly not a good recommendation. There was a quiz in progress and we waited…and waited….and waited to be seated whilst the quiz continued.eventually we were seated however, because of the quiz it had to be outside-and advised that our server would be with us shortly. The hostess returned to say that she could not find our server and asked for drinks orders which were margaritas. Our server then arrived and advised against these drinks as they were too watery and always being sent back! Offered a cocktail menu. The cocktail chosen was bright blue, unpleasant and undrinkable!
