"I have never in my 54 years on this planet walked into a bar and felt more welcomed than I did at counterpoint tonight. We took a seat at the bar and within a minute the owner offered us a shot. We had a great conversation with Zoe, one of the bartenders, throughout our time there. The beer selection was really good as was the food. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If we called San Diego home, this would be our local, no matter where in the city we lived."

Quaint cool little spot in the Golden Hills area. Second story area is small but very cool. Came here with my sister and they had a lot of cocktails and selection of beer. Harland Hazy is my absolute favorite so that was a plus! Food also is available.

What a lovely place for brunch! It wasn’t too crowded, making it ideal if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend the chicken and waffle benedict—it was delicious! The cocktail menu is full of creative options, so I’ll definitely be back to try more of them.

Counterpoint is great for a casual meal! I've had both their brunch and dinner a it was so tasty. The farro kale salad is hearty and delicious and the salmon sandwich was perfectly cooked. The cocktails are also so well crafted and it slushee was refreshing. Service was warm and welcoming, such a wonderful neighborhood spot!
