Waitress was very friendly and even brought me a toasted bun for my meal .

Waited over a hour for service . Waitress only came twice to ask anything or apologize for the wait.

Our 2nd time at this location in 8 months. 1st time was pretty good. This last time food was just warm. Corn bread was the only hot item and good. It was a Thursday at dinnertime so it was getting busy. Husband and I were a little disappointed as this cracker barrel experience was not like the 1st visit. Next stop through we will try another restaurant in the area.

Jeremy, at the Wytheville, Virginia location was our waiter and he restored many of our concerns about Cracker Barrel. The last few visits at NC locations were very poor and we decided not to go back. Today we ate at the Wytheville location and we were totally satisfied. Not only was Jeremy a great waiter but he was friendly, very knowledgeable and wonderfully accommodating. Nice job and I hope he gets some acknowledgment . Thanks Jeremy for a job well done! I was traveling with 2 dogs and unable to eat inside a restaurant. I didn't want drive through. I wanted a hot tasty dinner. I ordered from cracker. Barrel and got a d Delicious meal that was exactly what I ordered and it was hot. I was giving utensils, condiments and everything was correct when I went to pick up the meal I couldn't have been greeted by a more friendly staff. If you want consistency, good quality food, and great service; then you should stop at a Cracker Barrel along your journey.

Everything was great on a busy Sunday, except one thing. The front hostess communicated the wait to us, effectively letting us know how long it would be until we were seated. Our waitress was extra pleasant and took the time to chat with us on a personal level even though it was obvious she was super busy. The only complaint i have would be being vocally called out by the cashier for accidently stepping in front of another customer when I went to pay. The line formation was not totally obvious, but the cashier was very rude in the manner in which she handled the situation. Thank you for the opportunity give you a rating. I look forward to many more great meals at Cracker Barrel.

I’d like to say that our experience was based on it being busy or low staffing, but it didn’t seem overly busy compared to other places I’d been and there were plenty of employees that we saw. Service was really bad. We got seated quick enough, but it took nearly 20 minutes just to get drinks. After we got the drinks, it took another 15 minutes to get our food ordered. Saw plenty of waitresses just standing around at the entrance to the kitchen just chit chatting. Ended up having to get up and get someone to take care of us.
