"Been CB diners since the 80s on our route to NC from IL. Would plan the trip so reached Corydon IN for breakfast. Been a couple of rough times for CB but never like now. You don't raise prices and reduce the product. It will hurt the business. No workers until fall everyone needs help. Now as a customer don't ever settle for burnt food or cold coffee. Managers need to know so tell them.Oh one last thing hire someone from Hardee's or Mickie Ds to teach the staff how to make biscuits or find a supplier for frozen dough. Too much waste."

I ordered the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and country green beans. Delicious except the roast beef should be sliced much thinner for a better bite . Excellent service!

I went to this restaurant for breakfast today. The coffee was cold, the pancakes were burnt and tough, and the eggs were barely warm (they were so tough that I needed a steak knife to cut them). It was not a memorable breakfast. The quality of the food tends to be inconsistent from week to week. I had visited a couple of weeks ago and the same breakfast was good then. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I ordered a Christmas Dinner for my daughter and son-in-law who couldn't be home for the holidays. Everything was amazing! The food was delicious, the price was worth it, and all of the staff went above and beyond to please. My family was thrilled and it made being away from home a pleasant experience. I cannot recall the name of the young man that served us also but he was also a pleasure. Fantastic food service hats off to the cooking staff."

"First time out for dinner in the last weeks. We sat in the roof, couches are removed and tables spaced, but the same excellent food, service and experience. And we saw a table of that I swear we see every time we go. Glad things are getting back to normal, and masks and capacity aside, last night night reminds us how close we are. Great job, Black Sheep"

"Outstanding in every aspect! This is possibly the best restaurant in Jacksonville. I can't think of a local fine dining spot that surpasses it. It is upscale dining, so keep that in mind. Our server Kay was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, attentive without being overwhelming. The bread service is a bit slow, as others have mentioned, but that's because they bake it fresh. I prefer waiting for freshly baked bread over bread that has been sitting under heat lamps. The décor has a vintage charm that is quite pleasant. It reminds me of old family-owned restaurants in Europe. Our meal was delicious from start to finish. I do wish they had more options for wines by the glass, particularly for white wine drinkers like myself. However, I was still pleased with the selection. The addition of fresh flowers on the table was a lovely touch that is not often seen nowadays. The gesture of placing napkins on our laps was also appreciated. My husband ordered a classic cocktail and was pleasantly surprised by its strength. He had not expected such a well-made cocktail from a wine restaurant. Our total bill came to about $200 for both of us, including a complimentary dessert for my birthday and a bottle of wine. The menu offers great value for the quality of food. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"My boyfriend and I went last night to celebrate one year together! We had a reservation and we were greeted and sat by a hostess immediately. The food was really good! He got the salmon which I preferred over the fettuccine honestly. I would highly recommend the salmon it was to die for. We got truffle fries and a charcuterie board for appetizers. The truffle fries were amazing (we ate all of them between just the two of us)! The charcuterie board was a really good deal as you can pick up to 5 cheeses and meats for only $25. The tiramisu cheesecake for dessert was probably the best part! Our waitress was absolutely amazing! Our drinks were always full and she was very attentive and helped us navigate the menu easily. The only negative thing I can say is that it was pretty loud as we were sitting in a booth right by the bar but that’s to be expected! We will definitely be coming back!"

"I want to give major credit to the chef and the kitchen staff. Our meals were intriguing, delicious, and reasonably priced for such exquisite flavors. We don’t live in the area, and I'm not sure when we’ll be able to return. So, could you all go and share your experiences? We’d love to live vicariously through you! Honestly, if this fantastic place were in Raleigh, we would dine here at least once a week. And on top of that, they have half-priced wine nights on Mondays—how amazing is that?! Overall, we had a perfect experience, and I’m confident that everyone else will too. Cheers!"
