Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack

Had a great father's lunch there. Divides the ultimate plate with the family. Very delicious. Good service.

Excellent cajun seafood. Great selection of menu items with some unique dishes. We enjoyed our appetizer and entrees and plan on coming back again.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch overlooking the water at Kemah. The Blackened Catfish smothered in Alligator Etouffee is superb, my son choose the Gator Burger and was equally satisfied. We'll return soon. Thanks again.

The experience was fantastic, with a wonderful variety of dishes to choose from. They even had live music to enjoy outdoors. The service was attentive and friendly. I would definitely return and recommend it to others. It's also very family-friendly!

I had several meals over the course of three days. The seafood nachos are . I also had the grilled catfish dinner with black eyed peas and broccoli. The black eye peas taste like homemade! Good food with fun ambiance. Reasonable place to go eat seafood when out by the boardwalk. Food did not leave our stomachs feeling the best but it was good nonetheless. Would prefer to try something else at he boardwalk next time. Side note: very fun to see the crocs and turtles in the tank near the bathroom. Live music outside is also great for a night out.

Between the incredible service and the incredible food Crazy Alan's did not dissapoint. Their swamp salad had so much chicken and the greens were extremely fresh! Just the way I like it! The Gator bites were so delicious my 10 year old had 3 helpings. The crab boil was our next favorite followed by the burger. We aren't big fans of Gumbo (last time I had it was in Louisiana) but this was the best we've had yet. The Etouffee was also really good!

Whenever I'm in Houston, I make it a point to visit the Swamp Shack. You have to try the Crab and Corn Chowder—it's simply fantastic, whether you go for a cup or a bowl! The seafood enchiladas are incredible as well. You can't miss the grilled oysters, and if you like fried food, the shrimp, catfish, and even fried gator are all delicious. Be sure to order the appetizer sampler plate to get a taste of everything. They also offer a variety of seafood dishes that are definitely worth trying. It's always a great meal! Visualizza piatti
